Yesterday I was listening to top Billboard hits of the 80's - and today's Hello Beautiful card is perfectly inspired by the patterns and prints of that decade. Grab your Walkman and get ready to stamp! The Abstract Beauty Suite includes bright patterned papers (4x6" for a fun change-up) and…

This thank you is for two challenges. First, I've used the sketch at Try Stampin on Tuesday#547 here. I fit in a little bit of metallics too with the DSP and some Gilded Gems. And then the colors are for The Card Concept#171 here. I was inspired by the Spring Garden title and the colors. I thought of the Abstract Beauty DSP that has the pink, blue and green. I got a couple of flowers on the card too Hello Beautiful is the stamp set. Here's my recipe: Stamps: Hello Beautiful Papers: White, Crumb Cake, Just Jade, Blushing Bride, Abstract Beauty 4 by 6 Specialty DSP Inks: Just Jade, Blushing Bride, Balmy Blue Accessories: Layering Circles dies, Gilded Gems, Stampin dimensionals Product List Hello Beautiful Photopolymer Stamp Set (English) [158041] $18.00 Basic White 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock [159276] $9.75 Crumb Cake 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [120953] $8.75 Blushing Bride 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [131198] $8.75 Just Jade 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [153079] $8.75 Abstract Beauty 4" X 6" (10.2 X 15.2 Cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper [158039] $15.00 Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad [147100] $7.50 Just Jade Classic Stampin' Pad [153115] $7.50 Balmy Blue Classic Stampin' Pad [147105] $7.50 Layering Circles Dies [151770] $35.00 Gilded Gems [152478] $7.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.00 Add All to Cart

Hi everyone, sharing a set of cards I made using the Abstract Beauty Suite of products in particular the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack. I created nine cards designs, making 2 of each card. These cards use the Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes. I also created a frame using the Beautiful Shapes Dies and stamping the edge with one of the images from the Hello Beautiful stamp set. The Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes make a great starting point to create a great card. The background is already done, all you have to do is add the elements that you want. The Basic White Hexagon was stamped using one of the images from the Hello Beautiful stamp set using Magenta Madness ink which was stamped off once. For the sentiment I only inked part of the stamp using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I made several of the frames using the dies and stamps to add some extra elements to the cards. I also added some gold leaves punched using the Bough Punch. For the sentiment on these cards I only inked up part of the stamp, as I only wanted the word 'Hello' as my sentiment. The card uses one of the elements from the Ephemera Pack, I added some gold leaves punch from Gold Foil Sheet using the Bough Punch. A Vellum banner was also added behind the leaves. The next few cards use the Abstract Beauty 6" x 4" Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack along with elements from the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack. There is a terrific colour range in the Abstruct Beauty 6" X 4" Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. For the final two cards, I used the Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes for the card bases. Hope you enjoyed these projects using the Abstract Beauty Suite of products. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. Hello Friends, Exciting news I have great projects to share with you today using stamping Up's "Abstract Beauty" Suite, which can be found in the Mini catalogue. I am also collaborating with Wendy Cranford again to give you even more ideas using this suite, to see what Wendy created please see the link below for her projects. VIEW VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE The first project is a card using both the Abstract Beauty Bundle and Abstract Beauty DSP, with such bright vibrant colours stamped the vellum overlay really tones down the card. The second project is a Treat Holder for yummy chocolates, it is a no glue box and would make such a great gift idea for that someone special. Today's cards were made using Stampin' Up! Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
Today’s tutorial is for a quick Beautiful thanks card. It incorporates several elements of the Abstract Beauty suite.
The coolest card ever... That's my opinion... Beautiful Shapes Dies from the Brand New Abstract Beauty Suite I was going through the brand new Mini Catalog January to June 2022 (it goes live on January 4, 2022) and came across a card that, at first, I thought was a cool Designer Series Paper pattern. When I went through the papers I had pre-ordered it wasn't there. I took a closer look and realized this pattern was created using the Beautiful Shapes Dies which is part of the Abstract Beauty Suite. I couldn't wait to make the card because my 6 year old son, Connor, LOVES die cutting, shapes, patterns and puzzles. He is autistic and we do many activities involving shapes, puzzles and patterns like this one. It's a very sensory experience using the Stampin' Die Cut and Emboss Machine. Turning the handle and the pressure of the plates being run through the machine not to mention the satisfying end result of getting cut out shapes in whatever color Connor wants. Connor is a sensory seeker which means he likes a lot of physical movements like push, pull, jump, squeeze... etc. We use lots and lots of scraps. If you have a loved one on the spectrum or with sensory needs this could be a great project for them depending on what they enjoy. My son hasn't perfected fine motor skills yet so he can't quite perfectly line up these shapes and glue them yet, but he can die cut like crazy (gross motor skills using the whole arm to crank) and he can help with sorting colors and counting the pieces. Connor is very drawn to puzzles and patterns so he loved this card. He ran his fingers over the finished project many times. (Because it is all die cuts it also has a very cool texture - more sensory seeker fun) If you are a teacher, a parent, grandparent or caregiver - if you are teaching little ones about shapes - the Beautiful Shapes Dies have circles, pentagons, triangles, diamonds and trapezoids. It's SO COOL. There are endless activities you could create with this but for today I'll stay focused on the cards. I had to actually figure out how to assemble this pattern so I studied the card in the catalog and then changed my card layout slightly, but I completely owe my thanks to the very talented Stampin' Up! designer who created that layout! If I find out who made it I will be sure to update this blog post. I cannot show the sample because I cannot show the inside of the catalog until January 4th but if you have a catalog in front of you, go the Abstract Beauty suite and you will see it! If you do not currently have a demonstrator and would like to receive a catalog please reach out to me and I will be happy to help. I'd love the opportunity to work with you! My email is [email protected]. You can also direct message me on Instagram or Facebook. MAKING THE BEAUTIFUL SHAPES HEXAGON CARD You will need: 24 Misty Moonlight Hexagons 24 Balmy Blue Diamonds 24 Night of Navy Diamonds Multipurpose Glue Misty Moonlight Card Base - Measurements: 2-1/2 x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4) Basic White Layer - Measurements: 4 x 5-1/4" Hello Beautiful Stamp Set (or part of the Abstract Beauty Suite)*** Available 1/4/22 Misty Moonlight Ink Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Mini will also work for these die sizes) MAKING THE HAPPY NEW CARD Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper in a new size: 4 x 6 If you are interested here are the coordinating colors for Abstract Beauty Suite You will need: Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes *** Available 1/4/22 Beautiful Shapes Dies *** Available 1/4/22 Abstract Beauty 4 x 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper *** Available 1/4/22 Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper *** Available 1/4/22 Word Wishes Dies Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack (Gold Hexagon & Iridescent Sequins) Adhesive (Stampin' Dimensionals, Tear and Tape, Stampin' Seal +) Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Mini will also work for these die sizes I used a precut card pack so no measurements necessary. I used the second to largest hexagon die (2 inches) and the next one down (1-3/4") Die cut your hexagons and the words "Happy New Years" from the Word Wishes Dies. I trimmed off the "s" at the end of Years so it just read "Happy New Year." The other Happy New Year card is very similar in design and style. I used different gold accents from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack and I cut the words in Night of Navy cardstock. I did use the Hexagon embellishments in Just Jade as well.
