The long barrel-shaped Heisu jade beads are engraved with Chinese characters on one side and a turtle on the other. The pale, pale green beads are nearly translucent, with a frosted effect. (Note: the details of the turtle are very difficult to capture with a camera.) The earrings are almost 2" long with gold vermeil (24kt gold over sterling silver) ear wires.
