Each game board is colour coded and displays the sound set (1-3). On each word card for each gameboard, the same shape is displayed to make it easy to sort, prepare and pack up this activity when using it in your classroom. The 2D shape visuals help you keep the gameboards and cards together to save you a LOT of time! This resource includes a zip file. You will need to right click and extract all. The three files that are included when you purchase this game are: · A file that contains the colour gameboards along with a kinder friendly font. · Gameboards in black and white. · A font file that includes all playing cards in 7 fonts. The fonts include Sassoon, Vic Cursive, QLD, NSW, SA, Tas. To play: Place the matching deck of cards face down in a pile or scatter them on the floor/ table. Take it in turns to flip over a card. Decode the word and cover the picture that matches. Try to put the word into a sentence showing your understanding of the word. Once all the words are covered, decode the words on the grid as quickly and accurately as you can to work on your fluency. These are all PowerPoint files with locked slides. This game is not editable. Please read the sound sequence carefully. If this sequence does not suit your program, please check out sound sequence 2, also available on my Tpt. If you love this resource please leave some feedback below. Thanks, Meg Clark (Preppingforprep)
Sorting is an essential skill that students need to learn in their early education years. With this set of color sorting mats, students can sort 386 different objects by color (26 color mats, 13-16 different sorting pieces per mat). Number of Sorting Pieces Per Letter: A - 16 B - 16 C - 16 D - 16 E - 16 F - 16 G - 16 H - 16 I - 16 J - 16 K - 13 L - 16 M - 16 N - 16 O - 16 P - 16 Q - 13 R - 16 S - 16 T - 16 U - 14 V - 16 W - 16 X - 10 Y - 13 Z -13 *for a total of 386 sorting pieces and 26 sorting mats! How do I use this in my classroom? I print on white cardstock, laminate, cut out and add Velcro. During center time or during "free" time, these sorting mats are readily available for students to work on. Depending on ability level, I give the student 2-4 alphabet mats to work on at once. How do I differentiate these sorting mats? Based on the student's ability level, you can use different sorting pieces on the mat. Use the clip art pieces to sort by beginning letter or sound. Use the words to sort by beginning letter or sound. Use the upper and lowercase letters to sort by letter. Or mix and match the pieces to have students sort pieces in multiple ways. This workbook is ideal for young children who are starting to learn letter sounds. This book features the following letters :s,a,t,p,i,n,m,d,g,o,c,k,e,u,r,h,b,f,l Click here to check out my Phase 3 Phonics Workbook There is a great emphasis on formation and writing and children can trace over a letter then write the letter. They need to colour in pictures that begin with a given sound and are also asked to read and copy some CVC words using the new letter. Later on they are also encouraged to write some captions. Throughout the book children are collecting stars for their good work. The adult working with the child can come up with an agreement as to what the child will get as a reward for collecting stars i.e. a new book or a trip to the zoo. The activity book is finished off with a Star Learner Certificate. These can of course be used as individual worksheets. Have fun teaching and learning!
51 CVCV Spanish apraxia or articulation flashcards. This resource was designed for Spanish-dominant students with severe to profound apraxia. All 51 targets were selected using consonant stop sounds: /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /k/ and /g/, and are presented with two CV syllable dots below the pictures representing each target word. Targets were selected for consistency in following the CVCV pattern with accent on the initial syllable and do not contain nasals (i.e., /m/, /n/, "ñ"), fricatives (i.e., /f/, /s/, /x/), the /l/ sound, the tap or trill /r/ sounds, or the affricate "ch" sound. Please note, I included words with /b/, /d/, and /g/ in the consonant position of the second syllable even though the allophone for these phonemes would be produced closer to a voiced approximate (for /b/ and /g/) or fricative (for /d/) when produced intervocalically because my students with severe to profound apraxia need syllable work and including these words increases the total number of targets we can practice. Print in color and laminate for durability. Multiple sets of cards can be combined to incorporate into additional motor speech planning activities to practice sequencing sounds in syllables across familiar words.

I spent a solid 10 years soaking up life in Puerto Rico, where I gathered a bunch of popular Spanish sayings and matched them with their English equivalents. While other resources online might start with the Spanish saying and give you the English version, that's all well and good if you're a native Spanish speaker or already know the Spanish saying you're after. But if English is your mother tongue, what you really need is the reverse: the English saying paired up with its Spanish equivalent.

Pinyin - is Chinese transcription system and is an important element in learning the Chinese language. It helps to master the pronunciation, boosts confidence in the ability to speak Chinese, helps to learn how to pronounce a new word, allows to type in Chinese, and search the words in a dictionary. The lesson contains 3 sets of flashcards: 1. Big cards with vowels / finals - with all 4 tones and basic consonants / initials. I made them mostly for display or practicing listening skills when the students listen to the sound they need to show the correct card 2. Smaller cards. Cards with vowels have QR-codes that can be scanned to listen to native pronunciation and practice reading and correct pronunciation. The cards are intentionally made much smaller, so it is more convenient for students to combine initials and finals to make words. 3. The third set is a little smaller than the second one and consists of digraphs ( the cards are square and not color coded).
