“Gluttony is an emotional escape, a sign something is eating us.” - Peter De Vries Aaron and myself have decided to attempt the Seven Deadly Sins series - and today (somewhat appropriately) we chose Gluttony. I have never felt so full in all my life - me, Aaron and my mum, dad and bro all went out to a thai resturant and ate so so so so much, I think we are both about to pop!! My dad was going to pay, but Aaron devised a plan to pay the bill before my dad got there, he's so lovely!! So using our cunning intellect and numerous "bathroom trips" and credit-card-to-foot passing under the table, we sorted it all out and I've never seen my dad more surprised! It was such a lovely night. Canoing was completely awesome - it was perfect. The sky was blue and we paddled (or should I say I paddled!!) out to the middle of the lake which was completely blue and serene and lay on our backs and fell asleep there. It was so surreal, I loved it. Aaron is asleep behind me with his laptop on his chest, hand poised to post his image, but I don't think he's gonna make it... so I'm gonna go climb in there with him! Goodnight Flickr! <3 99/365
We have all heard of “Capital Sins” or “Deadly Sins”. For the sake of staying as close as possible to its original Latin name, I will refer to them as “Capital Sins”. For those of you who don’t know what these sins are, I will name them for you: Pride, envy, gluttony, greed lust, sloth and wrath. Today I would like to shed some light on the history and real meaning behind them.

I have a few bits of excitement to share with you today. Firstly, in case you didn't hear, the Devon School of Rock blogging workshop is sold out! I'm thrilled with the response to this second date and I can't wait to meet all the new students at Muddifords Court in April! If you missed out or are considering attending one of these courses in future, keep those peepers peeled as I'll be announcing the next date and location as soon as I'm done with this one!In other news, we are SO VERY CLOSE to having issue two of the Rock n Roll Bride Magazine ready! I know, I know, it's taken much longer than we anticipated to get this second edition out, but we've really upped our game with it. The magazine will be a whopping 86 pages and we've (and by 'we' I mean Nubby...) basically redesigned the whole thing from scratch so it's got a much more grown up, editorial feel. I'm seriously DYING with the anticipation of sharing it with you, it's not long to wait now I promise! Nubby is just working on the finer final details and I'm hoping to have it off to the printers within the next two weeks. WATCH THIS VERY OVER-EXCITED SPACE.
So its 4.30am and I'm sat at my computer editing, and all I want to do is climb into bed with my love. Today's sin is Greed. I chose to use money because today me and aaron finally got to watch the end of the Dark Knight (Batman) and there was a scene with the joker as he burns all his money. I really loved that imagery of having something so worthless, something that in the end is just paper, pulling people down. OK, enough description for now, I am offically dead!!! 104/365
