The possibilities for these crochet eyes are endless! You may want to use them on dolls or any other amigurumi figures. But these eyes could also be used to embellish iPad covers, or should I say eyePad covers. Or use one eye to decorate your iPhone cover. They would also look great on a bag or box lid. I personally like to make EYE BOOKMARKS. The bookmark pattern (string and how to attach it to the eyes) is included. If you are familiar with the basics of crochet then you can make these eyes too. The pattern contains clear descriptions with 30+ PHOTOS that show the process. Hook: Depends on the yarn you use. Yarn: Any yarn you like, depending on how large or small you need the eyes to be. I have made these eyes using mercerized cotton (fine/sport weight with a 2.5 mm/C hook so that the eyes feel firm and keep their shape) and acrylic yarn (4 mm/F hook). Eye size 2.5 mm hook: approx. 5 x 8 cm / 2 x 3.2 inch Eye size 4 mm hook: approx. 6.3 x 11 cm /2.5 x 4.6 inch

Did you get in on the 10-for-10 crochet pattern sale over at Sarah London? You know how I love a sale and I’m thrilled with my selections. Today I’ve been working with the Floppy Flower pattern. I want to make up a bunch to use as party decorations. I think big using bold color is beautiful! Oh, and did I mention how much fun they are to make? More fun
