Today's the last day of Sneak Peeks! Today we are sneaking Turkey Poop and Happy Owl-oween. I used Turkey Poop and the Curly Label Die on this card. I love this cute turkey from Little Scraps of Heaven. Check out the other Design Team's sneaks over at the Jaded Blossom blog and be sure to join us for the release hop tomorrow!
Hello everyone! I wanted to share this card that I made using the Turkey Time Digital stamps from Digi My World. This is such a cute turkey file! I printed and cut the turkey using my Cameo and colored it with Copic markers. I added some white highlights and mounted him on pop dots. I stamped the background upper half with the Thanksgiving stamp out of the Jaded Blossom Holiday Treat Tags stamp set. I cut the sentiment banner using My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Die's-Arched and stamped the sentiment using only part of the JB Holiday Treat Tag stamp. To finish I added a white stitched border around the card using a white gel pen. I am going to enter this into the Jaded Blossom Challenge which is Anything Thanksgiving. Thanks for visiting and have a great day! Also, I hope you will come back tomorrow for the PPPR/Peachy Keen blog hop! Lots of great projects to be seen and some gift certificates up for grabs!

Hi friends! I hope you're not hungry, cuz I've got something yummy to show ya! Here it is: It's a lattice top apple pie! Yes, I'm a baker :) ---> a paper baker! This yummy pie is all cardstock. Here's a little peek at it: This is baked right out of the SVG ovens at svgcuts.com. This file is called Fall Harvest & just like everything else they make, it's brimming with awesome projects! Luuuuv them :) The large rose also comes in the file. I added a few of my favorite things. The other flowers are the Royal Rose die-namics from MFT, and the swirls are from Cheery Lynn. The "Give Thanks" is a Sizzix die. I inked all the edges to give them that golden baked goodness :) Here's a closer peek at that: Here's a side peek: So the top of the lid comes off to reveal the sweet treats inside. Nothing in mine yet, but I've got loads of ideas of what I'm going to put in it :) This would make a cuuute teacher gift, me thinks! I hope I have a prize winning pie at the following challenges: Inspire me Fridays: Anything goes Paper Crafting Journey: Anything Goes Simon Says Stamp: Thanksgiving Papertake Weekly: Flower Power Thanks for popping in today. Hope you have a couple lovely crafternoons this weekend! Gotta Go!
Hey there crafty friends! Today's fall card features a collage layout that you might recognize, but today I'll show you how to create it in a new way for a cozy thankful autumn card. At the end of this post, be sure to check out some of the other cards I've made that follow this same crafty formula. This blog post contains affiliate links. When you purchase through my links, I receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart! The layout on today's card features the darling die set, Cute Scalloped Rectangles. You can create this look using any sort of nesting style rectangle dies. (Bonus points if those rectangles have adorable scalloped edges!) Choose three sizes of shape and die cut them for the base of this card layout. After die cutting your rectangles, begin to assemble die cut or stamped images and a sentiment to create a fun fall collage-feeling card. I used one of my favorite die sets, Patchwork Leaves. I might have mentioned this one a time or two, (or ten.) Are you tired of seeing this die set yet? (No, of course you aren't, because it's ADORABLE.) Today's blog post is part of Die Cut Obsession Day on the Impression Obsession blog. Click on over to check out all of the designers who are participating today. I just know they've got some adorable die cut goodness to share! Thank you so much for stopping by! xoxo Don't forget, there's still a hot minute to grab some deals on SUNFLOWER stamps and dies in the IO shop. They're 25% off through 10/31/20. Thanksgiving turkey crafts for kids, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and adults.
I've had a few requests to "borrow" my design ideas to make little projects for fundraisers. Absolutely!!! I thought I'd share a few tips and How To photos: Getting started: I ordered a dozen unfinished bookmarks from Oriental Trading Company. However, Midwest Products makes some great thin wood strips that could be cut to size. I use the largest hole punch on my Crop-O-Dile II to make each hole a bit larger. Seal the front, back, and sides of each bookmark with DecoArt® Multi-Purpose(TM) Sealer. Use mini craft sticks for the hat brims; seal those as well. Use a sanding block to sand all surfaces smooth and remove any splintered wood. Base coat each piece, including the hat brims. Shade around the left side of each painted section. I use a cross-hatch background stamp for the straw hat details. Attach hat brims with Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue®. Paint details ... triangular noses and black dip-dot eyes. Dip a stylus or small paintbrush handle in a puddle of black paint. Dot once; reload with paint before dotting other eye. Reloading each time gives you same-size dots. Dotting without reloading gives you dots in decreasing size. I decided to add a crow to each scarecrow's hat. I used pre-cut oval wood shapes. Cut small triangles from masking tape and press onto oval. Paint ovals black; remove tape, and paint beaks yellow ochre. Lightly sand the edges of each oval to remove some of the paint. Use a stylus or paintbrush handle to dip dot the eyes. When dry, seal each piece. Add detail lines and stitches with a permanent black marker. Glue crow to hat. Thread some fun ribbon through the top of the bookmark ... Super simple!
