Hi Again Everyone! It is officially the most wonderful time of the year, aka Fall/Halloween. All the spooks and chills, it feels like my soul is getting a restart. Along with a change in season it is also time for a change in pattern design themes. Introducing The Groovy Ghost Wall Hanging! As much as I love dark and spooky, this fun and colorful ghost pattern is such a vibe. I have been loving mixing the spooky with the fun, so much so that I also made a punch needle version of this pattern. Technically the crochet pattern was made from the punch needle design. What do you prefer? Dark and Spooky or Fun and Creepy? I fall somewhere in the middle. Either way you could totally change the colors of the pattern to fit your preference. Let those creative juices flow and have a little fun with it. With that being said Happy Crocheting! This post contains affiliate links that support the content on LoveandStitchDesign.com. Each affiliate link has a * beside it. All opinions are my own. Find more information about affiliate links, as well as my Privacy & Disclosures Policy here. Thank you for your support! Pin It For Later Interested in the pattern and want to save it for later? You can use my personal Pinterest pin by clicking here or the image below! You can purchase the Printable PDF on Etsy here! The PDF includes the complete step-by-step pattern so you can follow along on paper, highlighting and making notes as needed. It is a total of 10 pages, including the front and back cover pages. I’ve also included a PDF download of the chart for this pattern. Materials *4.50 mm Crochet Hook Weight 4/Worsted Weight Yarn (yarn I used is listed below) *Yarn Needle *Scissors Wooden Branch or *Dowel Rod *Hand Steamer (optional) Yarn Choice For most of my wall hanging patterns I prefer to use a thicker and tighter spun worsted weight yarn. I feel like it gives a lot more definition to the piece and details tend to stand out more. I really don’t focus too much on the texture of the yarn because I steam every single one of my wall hangings, which softens the piece and makes it more flexible and flowy. This is especially helpful for tighter crocheters. The brands I tend to gravitate the most towards are Red Heart Super Saver, Loops & Threads Impeccable and We Crochet Brava Worsted. For this wall hanging I used the following yarn: -We Crochet Brava Worsted in Sky-approx. 60 yards -We Crochet Brava Worsted in Clarity-approx. 60 yards -We Crochet Brava Worsted in White-approx. 40 yards -We Crochet Brava Worsted in Caution-approx. 5 yards -We Crochet Brava Worsted in Black-approx. 5 yards Stitch Key (US Terms) Ch = Chain St/sts = Stitch(es) Sc = Single Crochet Color Abbreviations S = Sky CL = Clarity W = White CN = Caution B = Black Special Notes -The wall hanging is worked in rows. -The wall hanging is worked from the bottom up. -The 1st st of each row should be placed into the same stitch as the turning chain. -The turning chain does not count as the 1st stitch of the row. -The pattern is written as: # of single crochet stitches (color abbreviation), example: 8 (S) means 8 sc in Sky. -The odd rows are the right side rows. Even rows will be the wrong side. Dimensions: 7 inches wide x 7 inches long (not including fringe) Gauge: 16 inches x 19 rows = 4 inch square worked in single crochet Pattern I have created a chart for this pattern for those who prefer to follow a chart rather than a written pattern. The PDF version of this chart is included with the pattern purchase in my Etsy shop. Here is the free online version for you to use. Begin by chaining 31 in Sky. Attaching the Fringe To create the fringe cut 12 inch pieces of yarn in Sky. You will need 3 strands to complete 1 fringe. To attach the fringe, grab 3 strands of yarn in White. With a crochet hook, push the hook through the far left foundation chain. Fold the 3 strands of yarn in half, looping the middle of the strands onto the crochet hook. Fold the strands through the loop. Tighten to create the fringe. Repeat for every other foundation chain. Hanging the Project To attach the project to a dowel rod or tree branch; using a yarn needle, weave the tail over the dowel/branch and back under into the 1st stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Repeat for each stitch on top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends. To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the branch/dowel. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim the excess yarn. (Feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project) ENJOY! Hey Guys! It’s me, late to the party yet again with a last minute holiday pattern. The holiday being Halloween of course, which just so happens to be my favorite holiday. All the spooks and scares just really gets the blood pumping. You know what I mean? Anyway, introducing The Simple Skull Wall Hanging crochet pattern. I completely meant to post this pattern last year but I completely ran out of time. This wall hanging is a smaller version of my Skull Trio Wall Hanging. A pattern perfect for those makers needing a weekend project or a last minute addition to your market inventory. For the Skull Trio Wall Hanging pattern click here! To add a little something, a little razzle dazzle if you will, I choose to make it a 3 toned wall hanging to add a little dimension. This is totally optional if you would rather use one color for the background. You could also try a tweed yarn for the background to add some simple definition to the piece. Hope you all love this pattern as much as I loved designing it, although a little (a lot) overdue. Happy Crocheting! Hey Everyone! I’m back with the 3rd and final version of the Mini Mountainside Wall Hanging. We’ve done the original midnight version, the sunrise version, and now all that’s left is the sunset version. If you want to make the Sunrise Mini Mountainside Wall Hanging click here! Sunset, aka “The Golden Hour” has always reminded me of summers as a kid. My parents were the “come home when the street lights come on” type so dusk always meant that the day of play was almost over :(. Now it has become a time to look forward to taking pretty pictures (maker probs, lol). I have taken so many pictures of sunsets because how could you not? The colors are absolutely stunning and just reminds you of what a crazy beautiful planet we live on. So, as with the sunrise version, I used the sunset as my next muse for the latest version of the mini mountainside wall hanging. If you want to make the original Mini Mountainside Wall Hanging click here! Like I said in my previous post, be sure to keep an eye out because I may or may not be recreating the sunrise and sunset version of the original Mountainside Wall Hanging, aka the large big daddy version, lol. (I have literally made so many variations of this wall hanging I’m starting to lose track, lol) To purchase the large Mountainside Wall Hanging pattern click here! Happy Crocheting! I am so excited to share this pattern with you guys because I have had this idea for over a year! When I published the full size version of the Diamond Bobble Wall Hanging in my Etsy shop last year I knew I wanted to create a mini version of the wall hanging to offer for free on a blog. I just didn’t have the blog yet. A year later and I am finally able to share this pattern with everyone and I hope you love it as much as I do. Click here for the full size version of the Diamond Bobble Wall Hanging Pattern. This post contains affiliate links that support the content on LoveandStitchDesign.com. Pin it for Later! Interested in the pattern and want to save it for later? You’re welcome to save it by using my Pinterest pin by clicking here or the image below! You can purchase an inexpensive PRINTABLE PDF on Etsy here! The PDF includes the complete step-by-step pattern so you can follow along on paper, highlight and make notes as needed. It is a total of 8 pages including the front and back cover pages. Materials *5.00 mm Crochet Hook Weight 4 Worsted Weight Yarn Dowel Rod or Wooden Branch *Yarn Needle *Scissors Yarn Choice For most of my wall hanging patterns I prefer to use a thicker and tighter spun worsted weight yarn. I feel like it gives a lot more definition to the piece and details tend to stand out more. I really don’t focus too much on the texture of the yarn because I steam every single one of my wall hangings, which softens the piece and makes it more flexible and flowy. This is especially helpful for tighter crocheters. The brands I tend to gravitate the most towards are Red Heart Super Saver and Loops & Threads Impeccable. Hey Everyone! I’m back and with a new free wall hanging pattern! To no surprise at all, this pattern continues on with the lunar theme I’ve been pretty much obsessed with for the past month or so (hope you aren’t sick of the theme yet :)) This pattern is actually inspired by my most recent full sized wall hanging pattern release, The Moon Ridge Wall Hanging. I am so in love with the pattern and I knew I wanted to make a smaller and similar version to be able to offer for free and my blog! To purchase the full size Moon Ridge Wall Hanging pattern click here! The Rolling Hills Wall Hanging pattern is slightly different to the Moon Ridge with the addition of the sun. I had so much fun creating this pattern. I hope you all love it as much as I do. Also, feel free to get creative with the color story! Happy Crocheting! Hey Everyone! I’m back with a new wall hanging pattern and this one might look a little familiar. As much as I love the night sky, I swear the sky couldn’t be any prettier than right at dawn. It is such a beautiful part of the day and always gets me right in the feels. So it would only be fitting to design a wall hanging inspired by the gorgeous colors of the sunrise. Remember when I said this wall hanging might look a little familiar? We are going to use the original Mini Mountainside Wall Hanging as a template and move some colors around to create a sunrise color palate. If you want make the original Mini Mountainside Wall Hanging click here! Keep an eye out because I may or may not be planning a sunset, aka “golden hour” version of the Mini Mountainside Wall Hanging too:) And I of course have to pay respect to the wall hanging that inspired it all, The Mountainside Wall Hanging (which I may or may not also be playing around with because I’m obsessed and I can’t help myself, lol). You will need 3 strands to complete 1 fringe. To attach the fringe, grab 3 strands of yarn. Use a larger crochet hook and push the hook through the far left foundation chain on the bottom of the piece. Fold the 3 strands in half and loop the middle of the strands onto the crochet hook and pull the loop of strands through the foundation chain about 2 inches. Fold the strands through the loop. Tighten to create the fringe. Repeat for every other foundation chain. Trim the fringe to your preferred length. Hanging the Project To attach the project to the dowel or tree branch; using a yarn needle, weave the tail over the dowel/branch and back under into the 1st stitch on top of the wall hanging. Repeat for each stitch on top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends. To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the piece. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim excess yarn. (feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project) Enjoy! For...

Hey Everyone! So I think it is pretty apparent at this point as to how much I love anything lunar or astrological related, especially when it comes to my crochet patterns, lol. Literally every other pattern of mine is somewhat moon related and I literally can’t help myself. I have been on a plant kick recently so all of my current patterns have something to do with plants. Except for this one. No matter how hard I try to move on to different design themes I always find my way back to the moon. Let me introduce you to the original larger sized version that inspired this new mini wall hanging, The Moon Ridge Wall Hanging. I designed this wall hanging back in September 2020 and kept the idea of a mini swirling around in my head for a while. To purchase the original Moon Ridge Wall Hanging pattern click here! I wanted to move on to different designs that challenged me a little bit more but the idea of doing a mini version of probably my favorite wall hanging never escaped me. Mostly because I have the original wall hanging hanging up in my house and I look at it everyday. lol Now that I have made to the time to design a mini I decided to go more of an abstract route and added some negative space lines for depth and moved around the placement of the ridges a bit. I truly love how it came out and I hope you all love the pattern as much as I loved creating it. Happy Crocheting! I feel like it gives a lot more definition to the piece and details tend to stand out more. I really don’t focus too much on the texture of the yarn because I steam every single one of my wall hangings, which softens the piece and makes it more flexible and flowy. Hey Everyone! I’m back and with a new free wall hanging pattern! I am so in love with the pattern and I knew I wanted to make a smaller and similar version to be able to offer for free and my blog! You will need 3 strands of yarn to complete 1 fringe. To attach the fringe, grab 3 strands of yarn. Use a crochet hook to push through the far left foundation chain. Fold 3 strands in half and loop the middle of the strands onto the crochet hook and pull the loop of strands through the chain about 2 inches. Fold the strands through the loop. Tighten to create the fringe. Repeat for every other foundation chain. Trim the fringe to your preferred length. Hanging the Project To attach the project to the dowel rod or tree branch: using a yarn needle, weave the tail over the dowel/branch and back under into the 1st st on top of the wall hanging. Repeat for each stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends. To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the piece. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim excess yarn. (feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project) ENJOY! Hey Everyone! I know its been awhile but I am back and with an extra special new crochet pattern. I’ve been toying around with the idea of writing a few patterns for makers who have a hard time thinking of small items to take to craft fairs. I was definitely one of those makers and I wish I would have thought of this years ago. With that being said I would like to introduce to you The “Teeny Weanie” Fall Wall Hanging crochet pattern! I am not going to lie, I might or might not have let out a little squeal after finishing up the cutie. I have this little obsession with things that are super duper small. lol These little hangs would make the cutest locker decor and could also be used to decorate small spaces like dorms and apartments. Like I said I really wanted to keep the maker in mind that needed a quick project while doing market prep because market prep stress is unreal! Enough jabbering from me. I hope everyone loves this pattern as much as I loved designing it for ya:) Happy Crocheting! This post contains affiliate links that support the content on LoveandStitchDesign.com. Pin It For Later! Interested in the pattern and want to save it for later? You can use my Pinterest pin link by clicking here or the image below! Materials *4.50 mm Crochet Hook Weight 4 Worsted Weight Yarn (yarn I used is listed below) Dowel Rod or Tree Branch *Yarn Needle *Scissors Yarn Choice For most of my wall hanging patterns I prefer to use a thicker and tighter spun worsted weight yarn. *KNITCRATE: Get 1 free crate (you pay shipping) and 1 item in the shop for 20% off when you use my code LOVEANDSTITCH at checkout at knitcrate.com. Hey Everyone! I’m back and with a new free wall hanging pattern! Hey Everyone! I’m back and with a new free wall hanging crochet pattern. I am so excited to be sharing this pattern with you because this pattern (and the large version this pattern is designed from!) was a true labor of love. To purchase the full size Mountainside Wall Hanging click here! Landscapes have always been on my “one day I will get around to it” list. I kept putting it off because I knew it would be a daunting task and, to be honest, I didn’t know if I would be able to pull it off. I am definitely a more confident designer when I have a clear design in mind and I have an exact direction I want the pattern to go in. When I’m not as confident in a design I will put it off until I literally have no other design ideas left (insert facepalm emoji here, lol). I am so glad I bit the bullet and put my perfectionism aside because designing this pattern was such a fun experience and I am so happy to finally share it with all of you. I hope everyone loves the pattern as much as I do! Happy Crocheting! This post contains affiliate links that support the content on LoveandStitchDesign.com. Each affiliate link has a * beside it. Materials *5.00 mm Crochet Hook Weight 4 Worsted Weight Yarn (yarn I used listed below) Dowel Rod or Tree Branch *Yarn Needle *Scissors Yarn Choice For most of my wall hanging patterns I prefer to use a thicker and tighter spun worsted weight yarn. I feel like it gives a lot more definition to the piece and details tend to stand out more. I really don’t focus too much on the texture of the yarn because I steam every single one of my wall hangings, which softens the piece and makes it more flexible and flowy. This is especially helpful for tighter crocheters. Hey Everyone! I’m back with a new free crochet pattern! Lately I have been obsessed with plants. Plants in my house, plants in my garden, plants in my food (mostly spinach for smoothies, lol). And now the plant theme has snuck its way into my crochet pattern idea book. I have always had an interest in plants. Every single time I go to the farmers market I always pick out a super pretty plant that I know is going to die in a week (insert facepalm emoji here). I am a terrible plant mom and I never seem to learn my lesson because I always come home with plants that I know are going to die. I guess I’m just going to have to settle for fake plants which is exactly what inspired this new wall hanging pattern. My patterns themes seem to come in waves so definitely prepare for a few more plant inspired patterns coming your way! Happy Crocheting! Fold the strands through the loop Tighten to create the fringe. Repeat for every other foundation chain. Trim the fringe to your preferred length. Hanging the Project To attach the project to the dowel rod or tree branch; using a yarn needle , weave the tail over the dowel/branch and back under into the 1st stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Repeat for each stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends. To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the branch/dowel. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim excess yarn. (feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project) Enjoy! Hey Everyone! This post contains affiliate links that support the content on LoveandStitchDesign.com. Each affiliate link has a * beside it. All opinions are my own. You’re welcome to save it using my Pinterest pin by clicking here or the image below! You can purchase the inexpensive Printable PDF on Etsy here! The PDF includes the complete step-by-step pattern so you can follow along on paper, highlighting and making notes as needed. It is a total of 8 pages including the front and back cover pages. I’ve also included a PDF download of the chart for this pattern. The brands I tend to gravitate the most towards are Red Heart Super Saver, Caron One Pound and Loops & Threads Impeccable. *KNITCRATE: Get 1 free crate (you pay shipping) and 1 item in the shop for 20% off when you use my code LOVEANDSTITCH at checkout at knitcrate.com. Hey Everyone! I’m back with another teeny weanie wall hanging, and this might just be one of my favorites so far! I have always had a soft spot for my Autumn Moon Phase Wall Hanging because I am obsessed with anything have to do with the moon or space, so I may have a little bit of a biased opinion here, lol. For the Autumn Moon Phase Wall Hanging pattern click here! So naturally I had to make a teeny weanie of one of my most favorite wall hanging designs ever. I also have a mini version of this wall hanging too because of course I do, lol. What is the different you may ask. Well, the Mini Moon Phase Wall Hanging is 2x larger than the teeny weanie and the Autumn Moon Phase is about 3 x the size of the mini, so now I officially have a set. Have I mentioned I’m obsessed? Anyways, I am so excited to share this quick and easy pattern with you guys. These teeny weanie have brought me so much happiness and I hope they do the same for you. Happy Crocheting! The PDF includes the complete step-by-step pattern so you can follow along on paper, highlighting and making notes as needed. It is a total of 7 pages, including the front and back cover pages. I’ve also included a PDF download of the chart for this pattern. Materials *4.50 mm Crochet Hook Weight 4 Worsted Weight Yarn (yarn I used is listed below) Dowel Rod or Tree Branch (cut to size) *Yarn Needle *Scissors *Hand Steamer (optional) Yarn Choice For most of my wall hanging patterns I prefer to use a thicker and tighter spun worsted weight yarn. I feel like it gives a lot more definition to the piece and details tend to stand out more. I really don’t focus too much on the texture of the yarn because I steam every single one of my wall hangings, which softens the piece and makes it more flexible and flowy. This is especially helpful for tighter crocheters. Attaching the Fringe To create the fringe, cut 12 inch pieces of yarn in White. Repeat in every other foundation chain. Hanging the Project To attach the project to a dowel rod or tree branch; using a yarn needle, weave the tail over the dowel/branch and back under into the 1st stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Repeat for each stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends. To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the branch/dowel. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim the excess yarn. (feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project) Enjoy! Hey Everyone! I’m back and with a new free wall hanging pattern! This wall hanging pattern is a little different because it doesn’t just have 1 panel…….it has 2! That’s right, this is a 2 panel mini wall hanging and I am so excited to share it with you guys. I have been obsessed with the theme of the sun and moon for a while now and I figured it was time to act on my idea and create a sun and moon inspired project. So naturally I wanted to design a wall hanging around that theme and from there came The Sun and Moon Wall Hanging Crochet Pattern! This pattern is super easy to follow and includes the written instructions as well as charts you can follow. I wanted to make sure there were options for everyone because I know that some people like to follow charts (me!) and others like to follow written patterns. So grab your yarn and put on your favorite show and get to crocheting! This post contains affiliate links that support the content on LoveandStitch.com. Each affiliate link has a * beside it. Whose the most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph of course, but for copyright reasons we will refer to him simply as the red nosed reindeer. With that being said let me introduce you to The Red Nosed Reindeer Wall Hanging crochet pattern! Nothing like the first holiday pattern of the season to get you in the holiday spirit. Halloween may be my favorite holiday but Christmas is a close second. Other than the overwhelming holiday cheer and good tidings the season brings the movies aren’t half bad either. If you haven’t already guessed who my favorite reindeer is it’s the one with the glorious red nose. It also just so happens to be my favorite Christmas movie so it only seemed fitting that I would design a wall hanging honoring my favorite reindeer. With that being said let me let you guys get to work because the holidays will be here before you know it. Happy Crocheting!
