I love corner bookmarks! Not only are they unique, but they don't put any extra pressure on the binding since they bookmark the page on the outside corner of the page rather than on the inside.
Let’s play around with the stack, cut and shuffle technique! It's one of my favorite techniques as you can make 3 cards layouts all at once!
Here are 3 card ideas to use up your leftover paper scraps. In this video I show you how to make each card along with some other helpful tips.
The following is a list of My Favorite Things (all new, new, new) in the Stampin’ Up! 2016 Holiday Catalog. The catalog began September 1. It’s a tough job to narrow down my favorites. Hello there and welcome to my blog, Look at the time I am blogging !!! Its 9pm here in the UK and the reason for blogging so late is due to me joining in a new global blog hop called Stamp To Share. We are going to share a couple of projects featuring a particular bundle of products each month on the second Wednesday of the month. So sit back, relax and enjoy .... We are showcasing the Lift Me Up Bundle this month, and you should have joined me from my gorgeous friend Moira :) didn't you love her projects?? This bundle was the first one I ordered when our preorder went live and the online world is full of gorgeous samples. I wanted to focus on something quite girly so went with an explosion of pink. The colours used were Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Real Red and Basic Grey. The white layer was embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder and the balloons were stamped on Whisper White and cut with the matching framelits. I have also used the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle onto the lovely balloons but you can't really see that so you will have to use your imagination a little. Once I made the card I just cut some extra balloons and decorated one of the White Gift Boxes . Its so much easier to make two of everything once you have everything out. I have been making a habit of creating two identical cards or ever so slightly different and its amazing how quickly you build a stash. Here's a closer look at the pretty box I added one of the beautiful Lace Doilies and the beautiful accents came from the Metallic Enamel Shapes. I hope you enjoyed my projects, thank your visiting me today and have fun hopping along. Next stop is Amy Koenders, I cannot wait for you to see what she has in store :) And if you get sidetracked for any reason here's the whole blog list for your convenience. Until next much love and hugs. Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop. We are hopping with a special guest - The very creative Dena Rekow from the United States. The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Dena's cards. Here is the card of Dena's that I chose to CASE: To checkout Dena's card in more detail click here. The greens I used for my card were chosen from the 2017-19 In Colors, which are the latest Colour Inkspiration challenge colours #45, gotta love when a challenge helps you make up your mind :) ************************ As you can see my layout is very similar to Dena's. I went with only 2 greens, Tranquil Tide & Lemon Lime Twist. I kept this super simple and only used 1 stamp set: Tropical Chic (this is pretty unusual for me because I tend to mix and match images and sentiments from different sets) and to keep it Clean and Simple, I resisted the temptation to add some ribbon or embellishments. If you are new to stamping, this card is definitely one to try as you don't need many supplies and it is super quick and easy. #simplestamping Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :) If you enjoy what I do, I would love you to Like and Follow my Facebook page, and Pin my cards on Pinterest (or you can follow me on Pinterest). Also, don't forget to sign up for my Blog updates via email and never miss a post. If you like this card, it would make my day if you left me a comment. Just scroll to the bottom of my post, leave your comment and you will put a smile on my dial :) Don't forget to continue the hop all the way around to see what the very creative Crazy Crafters team have come up with. You are currently visiting me - Kirsten Aitchison, so checkout the list below to see who is next in the hop. You too can make this ....... Here is a list of the supplies and tools used: If you need any of these supplies, I would love to be able to assist you and would really appreciate your business. As promised, here's a free photo tutorial of one of the more complicated of the designs we did at Advanced Papercrafters Class this month, featuring the Circles Card Thinlits for the Sizzix Big Shot. I'm calling it a porthole flip-fold card, for obvious reasons... basically there's a window that goes all the way through to the back of the card. This would be really cool to use with our Clear Translucent Envelopes! Here's the card, opened... you can see the basic Circles Card Thinlit base, with extra openings. It's waaaaaay easier than you'd think, actually! So uncomplicated, actually, that you...

Produkte! Verla Carpenter has done it again! Look at this gorgeous 3-D card that she sent me. And it's an easel card so it can stay on display on my table. I love it! She even spritzed it with some sparkly
What do you call these cards that I am sharing today? Is it a Fracturing, faux Shutter, or Patchwork Card? Oh, we all have our own thoughts about what they should be called, but in short, all names
Faux Shutter. Fractured. Whether you call it Faux Shutter or Fractured Card, this is a fun optical illusion. And it’s way easier than it looks. Let’s get started! I used a piece of Night of Navy cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″ as my platform to build the faux shutter/fracture. Score the long side at 2-1/2″ to ... Read More about Faux Shutter or Fractured Card
