Welcome to a Week 13 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Boho Blue. Boho Blue is a member of the group of the 2023-2025 In Colours and sits between Misty Moonlight and Blueberry Bushel on the Stampin' Up! Colour Wheel. This week my card features the Country Flowers bundle as well as a little bit from the Country Birdhouse bundle. When searching for a colour combination for this week I came across one from Brian King that appealed to me. I have also added in some Copper highlights as well. For the base of the card a piece of the returning Countryside Inn paper has been adhered to a piece of Boho Blue card and then onto Thick White card. To make the pot of flowers pop a piece of White card that has been embossed using the Eyelet 3D folder and then die cut using the largest of the circular Stylish Shapes dies. The stool that the pot of flowers sits on has been stamped in Night of Navy onto a piece of Countryside Inn paper and then die cut using one of the dies from the Countryside Flowers dies. The teapot has also been stamped using Night Of Navy ink onto Boho Blue card and then die cut. The flowers after being stamped in Black Memento Ink were coloured using Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Boho Blue and Calypso Coral Stampin Blends. The cute little bird is from the Country Birdhouse bundle and has also been coloured using Boho Blue Stampin'Blends. It is a bit hard to see in the original photo but the sentiment, from Something Fancy, has been embossed using Copper embossing powder, and finally a few Copper Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems have been added. For the inside of the card, a piece of the In Colour Designer Series Paper in Boho Blue has been adhered to the card base and then a piece of White card added for the writing panel. The circle of flowers in the corner have been die cut using one of the Country Flowers dies and Boho Blue card. Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Rachel Woollard. I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor where you can see a full list of tonight's participants. As always if you live in Australia and would like to know more about Stampin' Up! or would like to purchase some of the products then click on the Facebook tab at the top of the page and send me a message. As always enjoy your week.Theresa

Just a fun way to say hello this Valentine's Day! When I was young our telephone was similar to this one - big, clunky and black. It sat on a lace doily on its own little table. Those were the days when we read Dick Tracy every Sunday in the comic section of the newspaper. He kept in touch with the other "good guys" by talking into his wristwatch......and we laughed at such craziness.....little did we know...... I definitely drew inspiration from our living room from so long ago....the clunky phone, stenciled hearts like patterned wallpaper, a touch of lace and a retro look designer paper. It's my turn to host at Freshly Made Sketches this week. The sketch is wide open - use whatever works for you in the oval area! Hope you join us - especially because it is cold this week in the Northeast so I'd love to sip some tea and visit your galleries! Stamp Set: Let's Talk Paper: Basic White, Bunny Days DSP Ink: Memento Black, Petal Pink
I learned a creative fun fold card from my friend Alanna Wharf. It's called a Back Fold Card, because the card folds back to allow the front to open. So I thought I would share more new products

It's Friday! It's time for a new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #679 | Colour Challenge. This weeks colour combo has been suggested by fellow JAI Design Team Member - Di. This week we are using a pretty colour combo - Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Pool Party. Just gorgeous! I've used this weeks challenge colours to show you a sneaky peek of some products that will be available in the 2024 Jan - Apr Mini Catalogue. I attended the Stampin' Up! On Stage @ Home online conference over the weekend and one of the privileges of attending a Stampin' Up! On Stage Event, is that you get to pre-order select products from the new catalogue before the official pre-order. And I was super lucky that they arrived so quickly that I could have a play and create something for you for this weeks challenge. This Hot Air Balloon Stamp and Die Bundle come from the Lighter Than Air Suite. The suite comes with the Hot Air Balloon Bundle, a Bakers Twine Three Colour Pack, some Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots and the Lighter Than Air 6" x 6" DSP. The colors of the DSP and the embellisments are gorgeous and give a soft rainbow look and feel. For my card today I've gone with a Basic White base and then I've made a cloud background using a Mini Cloud Edges Stencil fron My Favourite Things with the Pool Party colour and the Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes. This is the layered onto some Pool Party cardstock. The large balloon I've stamped in Petal Pink and then accented with the scalloped details die to give my hot air balloon that extra pretty look. The smaller balloons have been stamped in Calypso Coral. This balloon uses two stamps to make the one image. So one part of the stamp was stamped in full strength Calypso Coral and then the other part was stamped with the ink stamped off once to get the variation in colour. I've then finished off the card very simply with some of the new Rainbow Adhesive-backed Dots, Linen Thread, and a gold embossed sentiment. I do hope that you like my little sneaky peek with these new and gorgeous products and that I've given you a little inspiration in using them. Go and check out the design teams take on this week's colours at the Just Add Ink Blog for some inspiration and then come and join in this week's sketch fun! I can't wait to see what you create. New stamper? Expert card artist? No matter who you are, the BEST layout for quick cards is easy.
