As one of the most used areas in the home, fitted kitchens need to be an inspirational place for making meals, entertaining and relaxing whilst offering an environment that stands up to daily wear and tear. This is why it has become more common for UK households to renovate their homes with an entire fitted kitchen that is customised to their layout and lifestyle needs, looks consistent in design when compared to freestanding furniture, and is installed to the wall and floor for a long-lasting and durable fit. Depending on the space available, there are pre-assembled options which reduce installation time, or flat-packed cabinetry which offer a more affordable and space-saving alternative. Different sizes such as tall, deep and shallow units will accommodate various storage needs, whilst cabinetry to support integrated cooking and cleaning equipment is available to create seamless and uncluttered look. Door styles are a key feature to creating a functional and stylish space, with framed, single piece and contemporary designs to choose from. Right and left orientations provide flexibility to get the best from a layout and soft close features can create a quieter atmosphere. A variety of materials, colours and finishes are available to add a personal statement on a design.
