I have been creating work inspired by birds for the last 10 years, most notably my ‘Belonging’ installation for the Liverpool Biennial 2012 at the Walker Gallery (see here). This is a paired back, simplified outline of a dove that for me represents an ambition to seek peace in our lives. I am also creating this bird as a ceramic sculpture.
