It is first worked from the middle and upwards. The front and back pieces are shaped with decreases. The rest of the top is then worked from the middle and down finishing with a split in each side. At last stitches are picked up along the arm holes and these are worked back and forth in rib and shaped with increases. For the neckline, stitches are picked up along the front-, back,- and sleeve edges while additional stitches are cast on to join the pieces together. Knitting pattern for Knitting is my therapy bandana Knitting can have many purposes. To a stressed or troubled brain, it may serve as a haven, easy to navigate in and leaving little space for thoughts running out of control. Knitting is a pleasure when it does not stress the brain too much. For example, it can be stressful continuously having to change focus between pattern and knitting, concentrating too much on gauge, or worrying whether your knitting is ’good enough’. The Knitting is my therapy bandana has been designed and developed for knitters who need an intuitive knitting project; to this end, the pattern uses slightly longer descriptions. The pattern offers 2 different versions: one with wide structure stripes and another one with a seed stitch pattern. The bandana is worked from 1 ball of Önling No 15, which is a lovely and ultra soft 100% merino wool. The kit contains: Önling No 15 and a digital knitting pattern The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.
