Penguins, polar bears and foxes oh my! I think that the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper is just the cutest! Of course, it is even more awesome when you can pair it with the Penguin Place Bundle from the July - December 2021 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!. Hello stamping friends! Happy Friday! Another Friday means it's time for a new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #575 | Colour Challenge. This week its a fantstic colour challenge using two of the Stampin' Up! 2021 - 2023 In Colours - Polished Pink and Soft Succulent, and a little touch of gold. Super gorgeous and super pretty! Such a fun colour combo! Love it! I've used the colours today for a Christmas card. While traditional Christmas colours tend to be red, green and gold, I thought why not have pink green and gold. Who says that you have to stick to traditional colours when making Christmas cards? Today I've used the Words of Cheer Bundle from the Stampin' Up! July - Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue. Its a fabulous bundle. The stamp set has the gorgeous floral imge which is perfect for colouring and some festive sentiments and then also in the bundle are some amazing accenting dies to bring your Christmas creations to life. I've embossed the large floral image with Black Embossing Powder on Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper so that I could watercolour the floral image with the Polished Pink and Soft Succulent colours. So pretty! To get the leaves to look a little darker I just kept adding some of the Soft Succulent colour until I had the desired shade that I was after. I pulled out one of my retired trims from the Stampin' Up! 2020 July - Dec Mini Catalogue to use on this card, I didn't have anything else that I thought was suitable. I love the bright gold trim on the card. The gold really adds to the festive feel. If you don't have the same trim as what I've used here you can use what you have on hand in your craft stash. I've finished off the card with the 'Happy' and the flowers both from the Christmas Cheer Dies that are part of the Words of Cheer Bundle. Also finishing off the card is the embossed Christmas and some of the 2021 - 2023 In Colour Jewels in Polished Pink and Sof Succulent. I do hope that I've given you some inspiration with this weeks challenge colours. Come and check out the rest of the amazing creations from the Just Add Ink Design Team using these gorgeous colours at the JAI Blog. There is lots to see from the team this week. We hope that you will join in this weeks challenge. I can't wait to see you join in and to see your fantastic projects for this weeks challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Hello, Crafty Friends, Welcome to my blog. My today's card is for the Positive Inkers Design Team Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on products from the New Mini Catalogue July - December 2021. I used the Stampin' Up! ' Blackberry Beauty Suite'. It's one of my favourite suites from the Mini Catalogue. Here is my card for today's blog hop. Base card- Rich Razzleberry 10.5 cm by 29.7 cm scored @14.9cm. Layer 1: Basic White - 10cm by 14.4 cm. Layer 2: Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper - 5.5cm by 14.4 cm. Layer 3:: Basic White: 9.5 cm by 13.9 cm. Layer 4: Cinnamon Cider: 9.2 cm by 13.6 cm ( embossed using tasteful textile embossing folder ) Layer 5: Die-cut piece from Stitched Sweetly dies using metallic foil sheets. Layer 6: Blackberry Beauty DSP - 6.5 cm by 9.5 cm. I used the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack from the suite, and for the sentiment, I stamped in basic white cardstock using Rich Razzleberry Stampin'Classic Ink. I splattered some of them using gold embossing powder and a Clear wink of Stella on the background of the card front. Finally added some glided gems and blackberry ribbon. Decorated inside using the designer series paper and the negative side of the die-cut piece from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. Hope you like my today's card. This card is made using the bird from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set from the July-December 2021 mini catalogue. It's a Christmas stamp set but I decided to just use the bird, and the small sentiment stamp "for you". It shows that you don't always have to use a stamp set as originally intended. I stamped the bird with Memento Tuxedo black ink and allowed it to dry thoroughly. Then I coloured it using ink and the smallest of the Water Painters. The inks used are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Gray Granite, Real Red and Merry Merlot. I die-cut the leaves from the In Good Taste DSP using the Forever Flourishing dies that co-ordinate with the Forever Fern stamp set. The background pieces were cut from the In Good Taste DSP with the join disguised using the Faux suede ribbon. To finish I added three Matte decorative dots. The sentiment is stamped on a scrap of wood-finish paper from the In Good Taste DSP and mounted onto a scrap of Early Espresso cardstock. Thanks for visiting today. Welcome to the Silver To Silver Elite August Blog Hop as we showcase products from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and the 2021 Summer Sale-a-bration Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you. Now that Fall is almost here, I thought it would be fun to showcase the Cute Halloween Suite in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I love how all the products in this suite coordinate to make creating projects so much easier. For this simple fun fold design, I chose the Cutest Halloween Bundle and combined it with the Cute Halloween 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. As you can see from the card design, I was able to showcase both sides of one of the designer series paper sheets from this paper pack. In addition, I used the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon and the Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins to embellish my card to step up the design. Products Used: Cutest Halloween Bundle (item #156483) Cute Halloween 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #156479) Label Me Lovely Punch (item #151296) Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045) Basic White Cardstock (item #159276) Highland Heather Classic Ink Pad (item #147103) Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (item #132708) Versamark Pad (item #102283) Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554) Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154887) Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins (item #156484) Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (item #156485) Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430) Measurements: Basic Black Cardstock 7 1/4" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4") Sentiment label punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch Basic White Cardstock Inside Layer - 5 1/4" x 4" Ghost image stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched out with the Halloween Punch Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper Front Panel - 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" Inside Panel Strip - 5 1/4" x 1 1/4" This cute fun fold card design is a wonderful way to celebrate Halloween. It is easy to assemble and with a couple of simple tricks, you can step it up for a Simply Wow card. First tip is to cut a regular size card front of 5 1/4" x 4" from the designer series paper sheet. Cut a 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" strip off of the right side of the card front to create two separate pieces, with the larger being 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" for the front panel. The second tip is to take a piece of the Black & White Gingham Ribbon, approx 18 inches long, and color it with the Light Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Marker so that it coordinates with the designer series paper. Wrap the ribbon around the middle of the card base and do a test bow to determine the positioning of the ribbon. Once you have the ribbon evenly positioned, attach the bright ghost pattern to the front panel of the card over the top of the ribbon. Next step is to stamp the sentiment and spider images onto the Basic White inside panel and attach the strip of designer series paper to the right side with the Black & White print facing up (by flipping the strip to the reverse of the ghost design). Untie the ribbon and attach this panel inside the card base so that when the card is closed, only the Black & White designer series paper is showing. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder towards the top of the label and add the ghost image towards the bottom right side of the label. Attach the sentiment label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals so that it is flush with the edge and centered over the ribbon. To complete the card design, I added several of the Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins to decorate the sentiment label and then retied the ribbon into a bow. Trim the ends so that the tails are long enough that it is easy to retie after opening up the card. This is such a fun Halloween design and a perfect way to help brighten someone's day. Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog. And welcome back to another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy my project with this month's theme - Pick a Season. Hmmmm, can you guess my season! 😆 Actually, here in Australia, Christmas is in the Summer time! So this is my green Christmas Tree forest. It reminds me of the Christmas tree farms that sell the trees. As we are coming into summer, I thought it appropriate. Plus, I had Christmas on my mind as I participated in the Whimsy & Wonder stamp camp last weekend with a great bunch of ladies and this tree stamp from the Suite, would not get out of my head - so here it is! This card is inspired by Sara Sayers - UK Demo. I have stamped off (or 2nd generation stamping) to make the lighter shade. Added some of the Specialty DSP (also from the Suite), tied a double bow using the Simply Elegant Trim in silver and the sentiment I cut out the 'Christmas Cheer' from the Whimsical Trees stamp set. The actual sentiment is 4 lines. I also added the white scallop from Scalloped Contours Dies. I couldn't resist and added some wink of stella to the darker stamped tree with the rhinestone (not that you can see it). To adhere the silver trim, I used a mini glue dot. I added the shaded spruce strip to neaten things up and raised the sentiment by cutting a small sliver of the edge of a dimensional sheet. That basic white sentiment piece is just under 0.5cm. Everything except the sentiment is adhere directly to the card base. Measurements to make this project: Card Measurements: Imperial Base card - Shaded Spruce = 4 1/4" x 11" (score @ 5 1/2") Layer 1 - Basic White = 4" x 5 1/4" Layer 2 - Foil DSP: 4" x 2" Layer 3 - Shaded Spruce = 4" x 1/4" Layer 4 - Basic White Scallop = 4" x 1/2" Card Measurements: Metric Base card - Shaded Spruce = 10.5cm x 29cm (score @ 14.5cm) Layer 1 - Basic White = 10cm x 14cm Layer 2 - Foil DSP = 10cm x 5cm Layer 3 - Shaded Spruce 10cm x 0.5cm Layer 4 - Basic White Scallop = 10cm x 1.2cm You are currently visiting me - Kylie Swain.
