Happy Sunday! What a GORGEOUS day it is! I can't wait to get out for my stroll with my Doodle Bug! ... alas, it may not be quite as long as usual this morning. My poor fluffy pup is a little off today. He's much better than YESTERDAY but still not 100%. We took him to the dentist yesterday. Ugh. The poor thing. He's SUCH a gentle soul ... and SUCH a big baby. As soon as he sees where he is (from the back of the car) he starts crying, barking and shaking. Breaks my heart every time! He's 7 1/2 years old so, because he had to be put under, they needed to do blood work on him. He came through the ordeal just fine, but missing one front tooth but OH MY LORD did it break my heart when the vet called to say he was ok and I could pick him up in an hour. I could hear him HOWLING from the back. They phoned me from the front ... and there is a door and an entire building space between the two areas. I have NEVER hear him cry like that! I was SO distraught knowing I couldn't go comfort him. I distracted myself with some stamping until I could go rescue him! He was stoned and VERY wobbly for quite a few hours afterwards. By 2:00 am he was 90% back to normal. Wagging his tail and he even grabbed his stuffed rabbit to play with. He still hasn't eaten much or had much water so I won't take him for TOO long of a walk. Here's hoping he's 100% by tonight! I had a busy week running errands, starting to buy clothes for the trip to Rome/Greece and getting my car fixed from my little accident 1.5 weeks ago. The damage wasn't too bad - only $1,150. Sadly, since the one who rear-ended me didn't have insurance, I'm out the $1,000 deductible for a while. Fingers crossed she pays me back without a lot of stress or delay! Being so busy I needed quick and easy cards for upcoming classes and events. I need 65 Thank You cards for Rebecca's Teacher's Appreciation Lunch this week. The Abstract Impressions set is one of my absolute FAVES for quick and easy. I seriously had these done in under 2 hours! I needed 35 more Thank You cards for a gig I'm doing at our college, NAIT, this week. I tweaked the card a little for those ... I'm sad that our Narrow Note Cards and envelopes are retiring. I've resisted the urge to buy 10 packs and hoard them so far, but I can promise you that if these bad boys end up on sale in the Clearance Rack I won't be able to resist! I used Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist (*sniff - I'll miss you lovely LLT!) and finished it off with some (retired) Old Olive Bakers Twine. Last night I figured *perhaps* I should design some cards for my Coffee and Cards class that is TOMORROW MORNING! *lol*. I have two made so far and know what I want to do for the third ... I just need to get to it ... This is a super quick masculine card made with All Geared Up. The background is in Smoky Slate, sentiment in black and the car is in Cherry Cobbler. Love it! This next one I LOVE LOVE LOVE! It took about 4 minutes to come up with! I stamped the Magnolia and sentiment from the new Good Morning Magnolia set (new June 4, 2019) in Sahara Sand. I coloured the leaves and centre with our Champagne Shimmer Paint, using a QTip. SO pretty! I added some small peals and BAM! Done! What else did I do work wise this week? I did some stamping while waiting for my oil change. LOVE our Paper Pumpkin Kits for easy crafting on-the-go! Subscribe here by June 10th to get YOUR craft kit in the mail. Only $30 (plus gst) gets you everything you need to make the kit project. Message me if you have any questions! I have my Open House / Catty Launch June 8th 10-1:00 so I'm busy getting everything ready for that. These are stickers you can use for your catalogue to help keep track of what you have ... and what you NEED! lol The rest of the week has been fitting in paper work for my NAIT gig (sign up sheets, labeling catalogues and so on), making appointments and running errands. A working Mom's work is never done! Speaking of ... I need to make a delivery on my walk this morning. Friends have ordered my Tin of Cards for Teacher and Birthday gifts. I made 8 tins in a matter of hours. Walking deliveries. Multitasking at its best! So that has been MY week. THIS week is INSANE (I *may* be stressing just a bit!) but it will be fun. Whatever YOU get up to this week, I hope you have a stampy one! Thanks for popping in. Tam

Welcome to the Jan 2020 Kre8tor's Blog Hop. You have just landed on For The Love Of Stamping - Tracie St-Louis. This months theme is Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalog. There are so many amazing products in both catalogs. I love SAB! It is a yearly Stampin' Up! promotion that gives everyone an opportunity to earn free products with a qualifying order. If you don't have a copy yet of the catalogs be sure to use my "Contact Me" form on the left side bar to request one (Cdn residents only). In the meantime you can download them from the right side bar. For my card, I have chosen the Timeless Tropical Bundle (153811) & the Tropical Oasis DSP (151252). Look at all the gorgeous colors in the designer series paper pack! The sheets are 12 x 12 and you get 2 of each in the package. The color pallet consists of all the colors: Real Red, Terracotta Tile, Grapefruit Grove, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody. Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock & Soft Suede. I designed my card with the gorgeous floral patterned DSP. The base is Cherry Cobbler. I found that it matches really well with the DSP even though it is not one of the colors in the pallet. I have layered the DSP onto Shaded Spruce and popped the layer up on dimesionals. The center layers use the Starburst punch (Daffodil Delight) and White. I stamped the flower in Daffodil and then the greeting in Memento on top of the flowers. I used the In The Tropics dies (151495) to cut a flower and added a Champagne Rhinestone (151193) to the center. This layer was adhered to a strip of white that I stamped the same flower image in Daffodil and then adhered the whole layer with dimensionals to the center of the card. Thank you for stopping by For The Love Of Stamping. I hope you have enjoyed my card. Now hop on over to Alexandra Rauf's blog for more amazing projects. This or That? I can't decide which version I like better. The components are the same, just turned a different way. It's hard to see but I used Wink of Stella on the flower. Good Day Crafty Friends, Welcome to this fortnight's Colour INKspiration Challenge #36. Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Jackie Aitken in Western Australia. The Colour INKspiration Design Team have created some absolutely amazing cards to inspire you, so be sure to hop all the way through. We have a gorgeous inspiration picture and earthy colour scheme for you to play along with. I am not going fib, when I first saw this inspiration picture I was torn, I love the images but so not a fan of Crushed Curry or Soft Suede and immediately knew if I over thought it I would struggle. I knew I wanted to use the new Tropical Chic bundle but these colours didn't exactly scream tropical lol. The card base has been stamped using Basic Grey ink stamped off along with Crushed Curry. The cluster base has been created using the new Foliage Frame Framelits cut in Whipser White card and then the Frangapani Flower has been inked using Crushed Curry ink. The die cuts were created using the Tropical chic bundle from Soft Suede card When I find a colour challenge a little tricky, due to colours not in my heavy used list, then I often make a couple of cards. This way I have options and just in case some attempts are complete failure then I have something to fall back on. The second card uses the large square framelit die cut from Soft Suede and adhered to a layer of Silver Foil card. Again the Basic Grey was stamped off for the Frangipani leaves and the border detail stamp applied to the bottom of the card front. The celebrate you thinlits were used to die cut the words from Crushed Curry and Soft Suede card. The third card didn't make the cut, what it did make was a screwed up ball in the rubbish bin LOL. INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use neutrals such as white, black, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Metallics. Not a member of the Facebook group yet? Just click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. We can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous colours. Up next in the blog hop is my very talented friend, Bronwyn Eastley all the way over in Tasmania. Enjoy xx Thanks for stopping by today, until next time, stay awesome

Hi everyone, sharing the card I made for our Stamparoos Stampin' Up! Group Swap that was held last night. We had to make our card or project using something new out of the new catalogue. As my preorder arrived last week, I was a bit spoilt for choice. I changed my mind several times. This is the card that I decided to use as my swap. I have used a new In-colour, Grapefruit Grove along with patterned paper from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The stamp set is "Love What You Do". These products are part of the Share What You Love Suite that is available from 1 May 2018. I reckon that the person who gets to name all the Stampin' Up! ink colours has the best job in the world. I love all the names that they come up with. Thank you for visiting. Carolyn Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest Group Swap
Hello and welcome. You are currently visiting Karen Farquhar from Australia for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges. For challenge #025 we have a colour challenge the pretty colour combination of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist. I felt these bright, beautiful colours had a tropical feel so I have chosen to use the stamp set and thinlits bundle Tropical Chic for my projects today. With the cold weather still hanging around I can only dream of a beautiful tropical resort with drinks being served while I lie soaking up the warm sun by the pool. My niece actually owns a resort in Sir Lanka and has offered us an open invitation, so maybe one day. For today's projects I have made 2 thank you cards and a gift box. You may notice the subtle differences in the card samples above and the little gift box. Firstly I have used sponging to give a blended effect to the hibiscus flowers and leaves where as the flowers and leaf on the box below were stamped. Also there are two types of dies in the set. The above cards have had their leaves diecut to the outline of the stamped image whereas the flowers and leaf on the box were diecut leaving a border around the stamped image. With my stamps and dies still on my craft table I thought I would create a Scrapbook page in my feeble attempt to do some catching up with my Grandchildren's albums. This set is so versatile I can also see a few more Scrapbook pages begging to be made. Thank you for visiting me today. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges. We really would love to see your creations. Also pop over here for a visit to see the projects of other talented stampers. Welcome back to Monday Montage!!! We have another fabulous hop in store for you this week! Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all! Another weekend has come and gone...summer break is going by way too fast! I've decided that I want to be a kid again and go on all of the fun adventures my boys are going on this summer. My twins spent the first part of last week at the lake, took in a crazy concert over the weekend and are headed out again today for a few days on the river. My youngest got to spend a couple days at the river AND hang out with his friend at his pool. My hubby worked some crazy shifts this week while I tried to keep up with everything at home...we need to be kids again! This adulting stuff is for the birds! At least I did have some fun at my monthly stamp class AND found a few hours to create a couple more RAWRsome Dino Days cards. I had hopes of making a set of 3, but my time got away from me and I only ended up getting 2 done. This one is fitting for a boy... ...and this one is fitting for a girl. I love that this DSP has colors and patterns that are for both boys and girls! I see this suite being used for several birthday cards this year. My youngest has been having fun watching me make these cards and is anxious to make his own. And the dies are SO MUCH FUN! The little dots and triangles are so good for creating multicolored dinos.
