Welcome to our Alaska Achievers Blog hop for August! Yet again we have a fantastic hop to share with you today - full of inspiring ideas using the current Stampin' Up!® product. I can't believe that the Alaskan Incentive trip has been and gone - boy time is going so fast. We had such a brilliant time seeing so many of my favourite stampers from around the world. What an incredible trip that Stampin' Up!® was able to put on for us. Today I will be showing you a card that I made with the EXCLUSIVE Blended Seasons Stamp set. This stamp set will no longer be available at the end of the month so make sure you get it ASAP! Here is the card I designed for this hop today - I used the wheat stamp from the Blended Seasons stamp set. I stamped it across a landscape piece of Thick Very Vanilla in the following colours; Some of the colours were stamped-off because they were a little dark. I cut this down to have a 5mm border onto a Thick Very Vanilla card base. I added a strip of 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon in Grey Granite and mounted to the card base using dimensionals. I white-embossed onto a piece of Soft Suede and cut to match the width of the stamped image. I used an offcut of Vellum and tore the edge and glued this to the underside of the embossed image. I then mounted this to the card using dimensionals. This was such a simple card to make - it uses very earthy colours, which I really like. Remember, this bundle is on able to be purchased until August 31, 2018, so if you dont already own it, make sure you purchase now before its gone forever. Thank you so much for coming by today! Make sure you don't miss one blog post in the list below as you are going to recieve so much inspiration and ideas from these incredibly talented stampers. *****EDIT**** For the lovely people who have requested the instructions for this card. I have tried to send them to everyone. If you have not received them please send me an e-mail request to [email protected] and I will resend you the instructions. Thank you so much ****** Tonight for the Heart of Christmas I have used the gorgeous Beautiful Baubles stamp set and got out my Stampin' Blends and Decked the Halls. I have used the stamparatus to stamp the side panels several times of the group of Beautiful baubles so I could line them all up perfectly. This fancy fold I found on our Stampin' Up Demonstrator Planning Place by Lynne Hemphill so if you would like the measurements just contact me and I will pass them on. The Gorgeous DSP I have used is the Festive Farmhouse which is in the new Holdiay Catalogue which is available to purchase from today, so all these goodies are now available. Plus don't you just love this sparkly black ribbon? It is the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon in the new Holiday Catalogue, you just have to have some for all your projects! I have used many different soft colours of Stampin' Blends to colour my baubles to go with the cherry cobbler base what would you choose. Make sure you hop on over to our team leader the lovely Claire Daly's blog to see who else is hopping along for the Heart of Christmas this week. Thanks for spending some time with me, take care

Hello & welcome stamping friends. Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue. We hope our blog hop tonight, inspires you to get creative, and make some fabulous Christmas creations too! If you would like a copy of the Holiday Catalogue, just ask any of us girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you. For my project, I decided to make a gift bag with a matching mini jotter pad and pen set. Until my order arrives later this week I'm working with minimal supplies, so there's a mix of products from both the Holiday and Annual Catalogues. One of the things I really enjoy about the Holiday Catalogue is that it's not all about Christmas. There are some gorgeous "non Christmassy" products in it as well that can be used for birthday's and other occasions. So I decided to use the beautiful Frosted Floral Specialty DSP and one of the Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments. These products are part of the Frosted Floral Suite on pages 36-37 in the catalogue. The Designer Series Paper pack is divine! The designs are printed onto shimmery white paper and each pattern is so beautiful. I shared a similar bag to this one in a blog post here. I've made this one a lot smaller to hold the jotter pad and pen. The base of the bag is made from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and I've complimented this with Mint Macaron, as you can see in the scalloped circle behind the stamped greeting. I attached the boxwood wreath with glue dots around the stitched circle greeting and covered where the two ends met with a bow made from the Whisper White metallic-edge ribbon. The greeting on the bag is from the Time For Tea stamp set, and the jotter pad greeting is from Itty Bitty Greetings. Both are stamped in Blackberry Bliss. The jotter and mini pens were just discount shop purchases. I even managed to push a little scrolled piece of the DSP down into the barrel of the pen. I covered the pad with Mint Macaron and another piece that I embossed with the Tufted 3D Dynamic TIEF. I love the look of the Blackberry Bliss with Mint Macaron. I had a few retired metallic enamel shapes left over and this is the bit of bling you can see in each of the corners on the jotter pad. There are some new Epoxy Droplets that are a part of this Frosted Floral Suite, and they look very similar to the retired ones above, so that's why I used them here. You can see from the photo above, how nicely the jotter pad and pen fit inside the bag. If you have any questions about the project just send me an email and I'll be happy to answer them for you. Thanks for joining us on our hop tonight. If you're already hopping then you may have come to me from the blog of our lovely and talented team member, Monika O'Neill, but hops are full circles so you can start anywhere and just click the 'next blog' button at the end of each blog post to get back to where you started. Following on from me now, is the equally lovely and talented Sharon Davern, and I can't wait to see what project she has created. If you find a broken link or have come to this blog hop from a different entry point, below is a list of tonight's participants. If you're leaving a comment below, thank you so much. I read and appreciate them all. 💗 Until next time..... Hello and welcome to the latest ESAD Blog Hop. Today we are featuring products from the 2018 Holiday catalogue which are available for purchase until 2nd January 2019. If you haven't started your Christmas projects yet, we have some fabulous ideas here which we hope will inspire you to get creating. You may have arrived here from seeing Jo's beautiful creation but if you started here, click the 'Next' button at the bottom of this post to continue hopping. One of my favourite things on Christmas Day is to decorate the dining table and I know my family look forward each year to see what I have come up with. For today's project I have chosen to make a napkin holder and matching Christmas cracker (or Bonbon depending where you are). To make my projects I used the Envelope Punch Board which is one of my most favourite tools of all and which, as you can see, is not only for making envelopes as the name would suggest! These napkin holders can be made very quickly with the envelope punchboard. I cut a piece of cardstock 21 x 21 cms and then punched and scored at 8cms and 10cms. I then removed the top flap using my paper trimmer and stuck the remaining flaps down and embellished the belly band which was created from a piece of cardstock 24cms long x 4cms wide, scored at 3, 4.5, 14.7 and 16.2 cms. The Christmas Cracker is also a quick and easy project with the envelope punchboard. My cardstock measured 6 1/2 x 10 inches and scored every inch along the short side. After I burnished all the folds, I lined up the left side along the fold at the 2 inch mark and punched. I repeated this along all the folds then flipped and repeated down the other side. I then scored both the left and right sides at 1 1/2, 2 and 2 1/2 inches on both ends and burnished all score lines. Finally I adhered the two sides together and used the 1 3/4" circle punch to create 2 circles and placed one at each end to stop the contents of the cracker from falling out. I used the First Frost stamp set and Frosted Bouquet framelits dies from the Frosted Floral Suite. These can be purchased separately or as a bundle with 10% discount. I love the versatility of this set which can be used for a wide variety of occasions throughout the year. By just changing the colours used, you can give your project a totally different feel. Welcome to Week 6 of Heart of Christmas. I have a bright and fun card for you today, that would be easy to make multiples of. The base of my card is the silver foil lined cards and envelopes available in the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue (they are also available in gold foil edged). You get 20 cards and envelopes in the pack for just $16.50. I have used the Making Christmas Bright bundle of photopolymer stamp set and the Bulb Builder Punch for my card. Time for some Friday fun with a new Just Add Ink colour challenge. Jan suggested this wonderful colour combination of soft sky, dapper denim & calypso coral. Love it! My brand new Paisleys & Posies stamp & die bundle got its first inking & oh my goodness I love it even more than I thought I would... which was a lot! The images are so beautifully detailed & work together so well together. My card is very simple but the beautiful medallions add so much interest. I used five of the stamps in the set in dapper denim ink & partially coloured them with calypso coral & soft sky markers - quick & easy. I stamped & cut more medallions (with the dies - no fussy cutting here) then layered them in a curve across the card, with a final one on some retired calypso coral ribbon, under the thank you sentiment from Flourishing Phrases. I think the script font really works well with the images in Paisleys & Posies. Some rhinestone bling finishes off the look. I added a few cut medallions on the inside too. So that's my card - simple & elegant I think. Do you love the Paisleys & Posies set too? Now head over to Just Add Ink blog to see all the different ways the team have used this brilliant colour combination. Before you go, pin the image collage below for later inspiration. Inmiddels zijn jullie wel nieuwsgierig geworden naar de catalogus. Klik hieronder om de catalogus in te zien. Veel plezier op het blog van Marlous Theunissen. groetjes, Cynthia
Hi Crafty Friends! Today I'm sharing a variety of projects. I'm posting them as part of my application to be a Display Stamper at the upcoming Stampin' Up! On Stage event. Attending the On Stage events are one of the percs of being a demonstrator (want to know more about that? Contact me for more info). On Stage is a gathering of demos with presentations from the home office as well as from other demonstrators. It's a time filled with inspiration and meeting with new and old stampin' friends. And I'm hoping to be part of the inspiration! Display Stampers receive a sampling of totally new product and are asked to create projects to share on display boards at the event. I was chosen a few years ago and it was very challenging but very fun. I'm hoping to get chose again. (Pick me Stampin' Up!) So wish me luck and let me show you some things I've been working on. I'm most excited about my Framed Art Sampler. We'll be making this one in class at the end of November so that we can display it all of December. Don't worry, I'll do a more detailed post about it soon. This is the first project I made with my new Holiday catalog products. I was very much inspired by the beautiful ideas in the catalog. I love the magical Christmas feeling of this piece. Here's what it looks like framed up. **Update** Want all the info on how to make the sampler? Click HERE to go to the blog post. We have another Home Decor class coming up the beginning of September, our HOME frame. It's a follow up to the first class we did back in the spring. We're making more "0"s to go in our frame. It's such a fun project and I love changing out my "O" every month. Please note, this was not my original design. I learned it from another demo, but I've had such fun coming up with ideas for the "O"s. This class is on Sept 5, so get you RSVP in quick! If you missed the first class and need to make the whole project, that's no problem as that option is available too. Here's a closer look at the 'O"s. This next pic shows how lovely they look in the frame. We'll also make a Valentine's one, I'm waiting on a stamp set to arrive so that I can design that one. Now, let me show you a few cards. We made this sweet card in my classes this past week. It features the Pop of Petals bundle (so cute!) and the Stitched Labels Framelits. My next two cards use new products from our soon to be shop-able Holiday Catalog. Need one? Just ask! I adore fun spooky Halloween stuff! I had lots of fun making this card. It will be one of the make and take options at my Open House on September 9th. This new set is called Cauldron Bubble. I love this saucy little cat. Here's a closer look: My last card share is this fun and quick Christmas card. It uses a stamp and the punch from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box. And the new Sprig Punch. We'll be making a variation of this at my Open House. Last up, I'm sharing a scrapbook page. I love scrapbooking. I love being able to look at and share my pictures. (Really! We must not leave our pictures trapped in our phones) And I've got plans to offer a scrapbooking class or club soon. So keep your eye out for that. I love pocket scrapbooking and using our Memories and More cards packs. I also like a more traditional scrapbook page. For this page, which focuses on just one picture, was made using supplies and stamps from one of our Paper Pumpkin kits. I'm planning to use this page for my son's birthday coming up in December. Thanks so much for checking out my blog today. I shared a wide variety of projects. If you need more detailed information, let me know. The 2018 Holiday Catalog will be available for ordering on Sept 5. Stay Crafty! Audra

I had a nice long nap on Sunday afternoon. The sun was shining. Lots of new things to play with.... You would think that would be a recipe for Stampin' success, no? There is a fun new bundle that will be available in the upcoming catalog June 1. I know it is supposed to pop up. I cut all of the dies out of white cardstock to mess around with the mechanics. I messed and messed. Looked for any helpful tips online. Made a mess. An hour or so past. I decided that I would use the dies as the focal point on the front - instead of the amazing pop up on the inside. Wanted to use some new In Colors with copper accents. I have several events coming up and not nearly enough copper paper. I tried some other color combos. Just when I was about to move on to another stamp set so I would get SOMETHING accomplished - I looked up at my studio wall. There it was - right in front of me. My studio wreath is green with a white wash - I used Garden Green and washed the white ink lightly over the top to subdue it. The new wood paper stack had the perfect background paper. Then I highlighted it with touches of gold. It took some time - but I was pleased with the end results. The inside will get decorated as well - but it was late and my dinner cooking responsibilities took over! Here it is - a great match of the overall look with the new wood paper stacks. Sometimes when you get stuck for inspiration - simply look around at what you love. My office is 'me' - the only room in the house that all the say in is mine :) We will be making this card at my new catalog kick off June 1st and 3rd. I combine the new catalog debut with my camps. If you are in the Indianapolis area and would like to try out some new product, simply let me know. And - watch this space! I WILL conquer the pop up eventually!
I love today’s card kicking off the fall season where we have so many things to celebrate and of course make cards for. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and all the rest. Ok, so I've discovered I REALLY like the new First Frost Bundle in the Holiday Catalog. I knew I liked it, but when I set out to make a birthday card and still wanted to use this bundle...I realized I REALLY like it! It's got to be the adorable flowers. They have a watercolored look and are just downright pretty! The flowers are layered on top of sweet Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and some die cut and punched leaves. The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral and cut with one of the Stitched Label Framelits. One of the adorable Blossoms
