Do you like mixing up a card design after you've made a card? I often like to use the same elements to create a different look. Let me show you what I mean. Remember this card I shared, using the Sale-a-bration Blossoming Basket stamp set. Well, after I made it with my SU team, I felt like playing around with the same pieces to create a couple of different looks - each with different levels of fussy cutting too. Some people love to fussy cut & some really loathe it so it's good to be able to have different options. No Fuss So I started my mix-up with a no fussy cutting version using the same card pieces. I embossed the pool party card with the Sale-a-bration Basket Weave dynamic embossing folder that's teamed with Blossoming Basket. Partially cutting the pretty Blossoming Basket image with the largest square die in the Stitched Shapes die set gives you a fast & gorgeous look with no fussy cutting. Yay! Again, this idea was inspired by these cards made by the fabulous Emma Godddard. I changed up the blossoms colours using calypso coral Stampin' Blends markers, plus the original old olive & crumb cake Blends. I backed the image with a square of pear pizzazz card & sweet doily. It looks so pretty sitting over the card edge. I couldn't resist adding a fussy cut butterfly too. Fussy Lavender This card fits the bill for those who love fussy cutting or lavender. Doesn't that basket of lavender look so beautiful? The brilliant idea to use the Sale-a-bration Lots of Lavender stamp set with Blossoming Basket also came from Emma Godddard's cards. I changed up the ribbon colours for this version, substituting lemon lime twist ombre ribbon & fresh fig ribbon. I love how fresh it looks. To make the lavender basket: - Stamp the whole Blossoming Basket image - no need to mask off the flowers. - Colour in the basket, then make a long horizontal slit just under the blossoms. - Stamp three lavender images & colour with rich razzleberry Stampin' Blends markers and fussy cut them out. - Slip the lavender into the slit, position them as you like and secure with adhesive - dimensionals. You may want to cut off some of the leaf sprigs so each lavender looks a little different. You can watch Emma's fb live video if you'd like to see this process visually. Thanks so much Emma for sharing this fabulous idea. So, which one's your favourite? Leave me a comment to let me know which one you'd like to make more & pin them for later inspiration too. You can see all my other Blossoming Basket projects here. Thanks for visiting today. I hope you come back again soon for more ideas. Inky wishes, Di Remember - the Blossoming Basket bundle & Lots of Lavender stamps are only available until 31 March when Sale-a-bration ends. Diane Barnes - Independent Stampin Up! Demonstrator in Sydney Australia. Papercraft and stamping shop, creative classes and ideas
Hello everyone 😊 I am taking part today in the International Blog Highlights hosted by Kylie Bertucci This involves demonstrators from all around the world coming together to share what they love with you in the one place. Kylie hosts these highlights every month and has a different theme for each highlight. This months theme is our Favourite Sale-A-Brations or Occasions item from the 2018 catalogues. I chose a Sale-A-Bration second release bundle that is now available called Blossoming Basket. #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft You can vote for my card by clicking the button below. My card is Number 10 in the Gallery. You Are Loved #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft For my card I used an antiquing effect with the new Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for a stunning background. Adding the white space with the same texture as the background behind the floral basket image helps seperate the layers and give each a distinct energy, yet they still flow together seamlessy. Antiqued Gold Embossing To create this effect emboss the card stock then dust with embossing bu ddy pillow. Lightly wipe versamark inkpad over embossed area, spronkle with gold embossing powder, heat. Wipe the area again with memento ink and gently rub in with a tissue, reheat to seal. I also used the Basket Weave TIEF for the focal circle behind the basket of flowers. Left Side View #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft My card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of embossed Sahara Sand. Behind the whisper white embossed circle is a scalloped gold foil circle. I stamped my flower basket in memento ink, I then coloured the basket using my Stamin' Blends and finally I fussy cut it. Gosh I do love those Stampin' Blends, they are just so easy to use and give such vibrant colours. The colour lifter is so useful too! I used it for removing mistakes plus adding extra highlights on the flowers and the basket too! Right Side View #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft To carry the colour through to the inside I just added a layer of Sahara Sand under a layer of whisper white and glued both to the inside to my card base. To finish my card I added linen thread plus 6 pearl basic jewels. They just add a little delicateness that was needed to finish. Thank you so very much for visiting my blog today. I hope you have enjoyed the card project I have shared with you. Don't forget if you like my project please VOTE for it by clicking the button below. My card is #10. I'm making this quick post late on my birthday, because I couldn't wait to share what the man in brown brought today! Yes, this is one of the Sale-A-Bration Second Release items that will be available Feb. 16th! I had to sit right down and play with the beautiful Blossoming Basket Bundle. Oh. My. Word. Not only is the basket of flowers a joy to color, but the Basket Weave embossing folder is a Dynamic folder, which means extra deep impressions! Anyway, I didn't want to wait until the weekend to show you, so there ya go.

#stampinup #saleabration2018 #faithfulinkspirations I've got to tell ya: the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper is da bomb! It's gorgeous all by itself, but when you color the images with Stampin' Blends, magic happens! If you want some of this DSP--and you know you do!--you'll have to act fast because you can only earn it with a $50 purchase and only until Sale-a-Bration ends on March 31. Look at this gorgeous card that I made in no time! I cut a 3-3/4" by 5" piece of the Springtime Foils DSP and colored the flowers with Dark and Light Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends and the leaves with Dark and Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends. So pretty! I adhered this to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Old Olive Card Stock mat. I wrapped a length of 1/4" Whisper White Organza Ribbon around these pieces before adhering them to a Pink Pirouette Card Stock card base. Next, I stamped a sentiment and frame from the "Rose Wonder" stamp set in Versamark onto a Whisper White scrap. I sprinkled on some Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I used one of the the Rose Garden Thinlits to cut out the label. I punched a sprig of leaves from Old Olive Card Stock and another sprig from Vellum Card Stock using the Leaf Punch. I adhered these to the back of the label and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the label to the card. Gorgeous, right?! And so fun to make, too! Tomorrow, I have two cards to share that feature an element from the Petal Passion DSP that I colored with Stampin' Blends. They're so fun, too! Come on back and see! tams# 21371 Product List Rose Wonder Photopolymer Stamp Set [140697] $27.00 Versamark Pad [102283] $8.50 Pink Pirouette 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [111351] $8.00 Old Olive 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100702] $8.00 Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100730] $9.00 Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper [147193] $0.00 Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack [144604] $9.00 Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack [144597] $9.00 Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder [141636] $5.00 Rose Garden Thinlits Dies [140619] $31.00 Leaf Punch [144667] $16.00 Whisper White 1/4" (6.4 Mm) Organza Ribbon [145590] $6.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.00 Heat Tool [129053] $30.00

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. The Design Team have been busy making projects inspired by our Saleabration & Occassions Catalogue theme. The team are from all over Australia who have all created amazing projects to share with us tonight. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what new products you're looking forward to? I've been super inspired with the new upcoming catalogue products and I've made 3 projects to share tonight. First I just had to showcase the cute Panda!! I've made a bookmark with large paper clips. I stamped the panda in Memento black, then cut it with a large circle punch. I used my new Stampin Blends to colour the blank around the panda. I wrote my own little message on their envelope. Foam strips aare the perfect thickness for these large clips, cut another starburst circle for the back. My next project is using the Sweet Soirée Suite, in particular the Embellishment kit. These preprinted elements are great for that last minute 'I need a card!' times. Lastly I have made a cute bottle card using the Bubble Over bundle & it's FREE dsp (with a qualifying order)! I love that the Dies can cut the DSP perfectly Thank you so much for joining us today. We hope that you'll join us again next month to see our technique projects. Here are three cards I made using the Tutti Frutti Cards and Envelopes from the Sale A Bration catalog. If you place a $50 order you can get these card bases and envelopes for free! (Envelopes are not shown here). I used the card bases on all three cards. On the blue card I used the Friendships Sweetest Thoughts stamp set, the yellow card is made using a new Sale A Bration set that is available starting February 16th. At first I didn't really like this set but then I started casing the card right out of the new Sale A Bration catalog and decided I really like it. I think that both the blue and the yellow card would make great Easter cards also! The green card I cased from Pink Buckaroo Designs . She has some great ideas on her blog. It is made using another Sale A Bration stamp set called Beautiful Peacock. If you would like to purchase any of these products you can order them thru my online store here . Or you can just contact me to order. If ordering online please use hostess code 7KYRWZPK . If you are ordering more than $150 do not use the hostess code as you will receive full hostess benefits yourself!! Happy Stamping! Stamper Gyrl!
Hello there! Today I have a few projects for you featuring the second-release SAB products. All of the original SAB rewards are still available, but now we have a few extra options to pick from:) My favorite is the Blossoming Basket Bundle. It comes with the Blossoming Basket stamp set and the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder. I opened up the embossing folder and ran a Crumb Cake spot over it. I then placed a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock inside and ran it through the Big Shot. The ink added a little extra definition and texture. I distressed the edges and adhered it to a Crumb Cake base. I stamped the basket onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock and heat-embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I added a wash over the background using a Pool Party pad and an Aqua Painter. After it dried I colored the basket with Sahara Sand and Crumb Cake Markers. I colored the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist & Old Olive. The flowers were colored with Peakaboo Peach & Daffodil Delight for the centers. I was going to use my Stampin' Blends to color but they're over at my Stampin' Pad, ready to go for my TNT! class tomorrow-which I'm praying doesn't get canceled AGAIN due to weather! And I was too lazy to walk across the street to get them:) I stamped the sentiment & butterflies with Crumb Cake ink and used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out the oval. I cut out the butterflies with my Paper Snips and attached them with Glue Dots. I tucked a piece of Very Vanilla Lace Trim under the oval with Glue Dots & adhered the sentiment with Dimensionals. The Blossoming Basket Bundle is a Level 2 reward meaning that you can earn it for FREE with a $100 order. I'm really excited to share that the Basket Weave Embossing Folder will be carrying over into the 2018-2019 Annual catalog! Next up is the gorgeous Springtime Foils Specialty DSP. You get 3 each of 4 patterns in 12" x 12" sheets. And it's really sturdy-it works great for boxes or 3-D projects. I covered a Narrow Note Card with one of the designs and colored the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist & Old Olive Markers. The sentiment is from the 3rd SAB product, the Eclectic Expressions stamp set. I stamped it in Old Olive ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I punched out the banner from another pattern using the Duet Banner Punch. I colored the stripes with an Old Olive Marker, adhered it to the sentiment and attached it with Dimensionals. I added a piece of Linen Thread to a True Gentlemen Button and tucked it under the banner with a Glue Dot. I then added the background with Old Olive ink and Eclectic Expressions. This was a super quick & easy card and I just love the adorable little size of the notecards. The third SAB addition is the Eclectic Expressions stamp set. It has a couple of great sentiments and some cool watercolor images. I started with a Dapper Denim base and added a piece of Sweet Soiree DSP to it. I started in the center of a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamped the larger watercolor image with Daffodil Delight ink a couple of times, overlapping slightly. I then went over it at the top and the bottom with the smaller image. I overlapped the Daffodil Delight with Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo. I then used Dapper Denim ink for the splatter image. I added a couple strips of washi tape from the Basics Pack 3 and adhered it to a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock. I wrapped a piece of Dapper Denim Bakers' Twine around and tied a bow. I adhered it to the DSP with Dimensionals and I finished it off with an In Color Glitter Acrylic Shape. I hope you got some inspiration for these fun new additions to our Sale-A-Bration season! Make sure to come back tomorrow as I'll have some more goodies to share:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

I was so sad to have missed OnStage on the weekend for the first time ..... but I was so thrilled that so many of The Crazy Crafters were able to attend. Bruno and I are still in the Philippines and there is lots of work to be done here so we know sometimes things happen that we can't make these events. I am so proud of my AMAZING team that not only looked after each other but also welcome others that don't have such a big team as ours. They are such AWESOME people. Included in these awesome group of demonstrators are those who are Silver Elite and above - these were treated to a special reception hosted by Stampin Up! The also received a special gift from me for their hard work. Yes a MIMCO bag!! WOW! My level one team members received a stamp set and level 2 and 3 a card and small gift of Rhinestones. I really appreciate my team and show them at these events. Here are the amazing awards that I was given this year!! Woo Hoo!! It really is such a bonus to my job as I love what I do and love that it enables Bruno and I to travel and do things for others. I was awarded - Number 1 in Sales for Australia Number 1 in Recruiting for Australia Number 1 in Leadership for Australia Overall I was ranked number 10 in Australia. And number 41 Globally out of approx 40,000 demonstrators!! WOWOWOWOW!! I know that I haven't done this alone though - my incredible team, my loyal customers, my number one assistant Jessie and super supportive husband Bruno have made this happen - so thank you to all of you for another amazing Stampin' Up!® year. One of the main reasons for the OnStage event is to see the new catalogue. I dont have a paper copy yet, however, I have seen it electronically. And, let me tell you (and, I know I say this for every catalogue), but this is the BEST CATALOGUE YET! It is SOOOOOO on trend and full of things that I love. Here are some of the amazing products coming up in the NEW Occasions Catalogue. NOW is an awesome time to join with so many amazing products coming. Click Here to join my Crazy Crafters team. Feel free to pin these new product boards to pinterest. PLEASE NOTE: The spoiler alert has been lifted and it is within policy to show you these new boards.

Hello and welcome once again. I am back with another Global Design Project Challenge. #GDP127 is a theme challenge celebrating Stampin' Up!'s biggest yearly promotion: Sale-a-bration. Have you earned your Sale-a-Bration reward yet? Sale-a-bration products are only available until the 31st March, 2018. You can choose a FREE Sale-a-bration product for every $90AUD you spend (before shipping and handling). By the number of projects submitted to #GDP127 using the Blossoming Basket Bundle I would say that this bundle is proving to be very popular. For my GDP projects today I too have chosen this bundle one of the items from the just newly released Sale-a-bration rewards I have also used the Blossoming Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have attempted to use mainly Sale-a-Bration products and as always I like to make a few projects to show you the versatility of each product. The Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Paper (DSP) is so pretty. It has 12 sheets of Spring-inspired foil designs with 3 each of 4 single-sided designs in Gold foil, Rose gold foil and Silver foil. The little Petal Passion Embellishments in the 2018 Occasions catalogue (page 23 is where you will find them) coordinate perfectly with this DSP so I couldn't resist adding one to my tag. For something a little different I have added a technique I learned at Vanessa Webb's class this week. I used a Sponge Brayer to add Tuxedo Black Memento to my paper I think it really makes the foil design pop. The card and gift tag below were my original projects for #GDP127. However Jo Stubbings had already submitted a very gorgeous similar card so I had to go back to the drawing board and start again. I stamped with Versamark and white heat embossed before water colouring my basket of flowers with Melon Mambo, Rose Red, Lemon Lime Twist and Smokey Slate ink. I did design this card with my mother in mind for Mother's Day. But then I thought maybe not a good idea. She is such a 'neat freak' those fallen petals would have been wist away before they hit the table. Although I must admit at 86 years of age her home is immaculate and is truly a credit it to her. To use more Sale-a-bration products I have made another card with a coordinating basket. The Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle and the lovely Shimmery Ribbon in Basic Grey is part of a 3 roll pack containing Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral also only available during Sale-a-bration. My little basket is made using a tutorial kindly posted by Vicky Hayes back in March, 2013. Thank you Vicki. Thank you for calling by today. All products used for my projects are available from my online store. If you do not have an Australian Demonstrator already and would place your Stampin' Up! orders with me I would be deeply grateful. Here's the card I had my stamp club coloring the other day. I had the Stamparatus set up so they could stamp the basket of flowers, and then stamp the greeting and tag all at once, and all placed perfectly! Mom is here for a two week visit, so I may or may not get much crafting time in. I'll try to have something to share, for sure! Hello! The last few weeks have been a bit crazy with health issues as I recover from a surgical procedure that limited my ability to sit or stand comfortably for periods of time. There were other restrictions, too; however, those weren't the ones that impacted my stamping time. Now that...
Friday means a new challenge at Just Add Ink, and this week Tina has asked us to... ... which means our project needs to include some elements beginning with H. I went pretty & made this with the totally gorgeous & free Blossoming Basket bundle - a new Sale-a-bration freebie available from 16 February. But back to the challenge for now. Did you pick all my H elements? There's the Hardwood timber look stamp, hexagons dynamic embossing folder, & of course the Here for you sentiment. There are also some tiny hearts on the tag. Here's a closer look I've used almost all the images in the Blossoming Basket stamp set on my card - the beautiful basket of flowers, heart tag, butterfly & sentiment. All coloured with my trusty Stampin' Blends then fussy cut out. The basket is so useful for so many occasions - birthdays, get well, thank yous, mother's day, Easter, just because... endless possibilities. I definitely have a friend in mind for this card. If you love it too, remember it's only available FREE with any $180 purchase during Sale-a-bration, bundled with the Basket Weave dynamic embossing folder. This folder would have looked fab on the card too, but I wanted to add some more H's 😊 I've made another card with it though that I'll share next time. So that's my take on the H challenge. I think you'll love all the different H's that the Just Add Ink team have chosen to use, so head over to the JAI blog to say Hello, then try your own H challenge. You'll be happy you did. Before you go, remember to pin my project for later inspiration & check out the supply list below to see & order what you need to make your own. Thanks so much for visiting today. I'm happy you popped by. Come again soon for more ideas. Did you know you have three more new Sale-a-bration freebie choices, including the Blossoming Basket stamp & embossing folder bundle I used today and this divine pack of foil DSP (click on the pic for a larger look) which has an appointment with my paper trimmer very soon. Project Supplies To see & order any items used in today's projects, click on the items below to see them in my Online Store. You can order from me if you live anywhere in Australia. I would love to help you with your papercrafting needs as your Demonstrator if you don't already have one. Note: Blossoming Basket bundle only available free with $180 purchase during Sale-a-bration (until 31 March). Basket Weave folder in the bundle will be available again separately when new annual catalogue releases in June 2018.
