For this week's Festive Friday challenge, Ann created a watercolored card using one of Stampin' Up!'s new sets from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog named Serene Garden.
Hello there stamping friends! I'm super excited to be taking part in a blog hop with my Australian and New Zealand friends from the facebook group, ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators). Grab a cuppa or your favourite beverage, put your feet up as there is lots of new Annual Catalogue inspiration to show you today. Our hop today is showcasing products from the ALL NEW 2019 - 2020 Annual Catalogue, which goes live June 4th!! I can't wait for this catalogue to officially go live to purchase from as there are LOADS of amazing products in this catalogue and I for one can't wait to get my hands on some new products!! It's the Stampin' Up! equivalent of Christmas! So exciting! Today I'm giving you a two for one. I'm showcasing the new 2019 - 2021 In Colors as well as a new stamp set and die bundle - To a Wild Rose. This stamp set has been inspired by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Mary Ellen Byler. The cards are all the same and using the same products, just changing up the In Colour for each different card. They are amazing colours in their own right but don't they look fabulous all together too. Each card I've stamped the flower image on the Crumb Cake cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Layered on that is an In Color DSP panel die cut from the In Color 6" x 6" DSP stack, a die cut vellum piece, some ribbon and trim and then the To A Wild Rose flower image stamped with versamark and then heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. The card is then finished off with the 'Hello' sentiment, also from the To A Wild Rose stamp set, the Gold Glimmer die cut leaf and the In Color Faceted Dots. Terracotta Tile Seaside Spray Pretty Peacock Purple Posy Rococo Rose Which one is your favourite new In Color? I'm loving Pretty Peacock, especially when teamed with anything gold, and then a close equal second is Rococo Rose and Purple Posy. What do you think your favourite In Color Combination might be? Might have to try using them all on one creation for a gorgeous and pretty look. If you are after a copy of the new catalouge, please contact me today and I'll get one out to you! Now on to the fabulous Kelly Kent in Western Australia to be inspired by her 2019 -2020 Annual Catalogue creations. 1. Lou Kitzelman 2. Rochelle Blok - You are here 3. Kelly Kent 4. Jo Stubbings 5. I was going to write one MASSIVE blog post for you detailing all of the awesome things that occurred at OnStage in Sydney (including CentreStage, the new catalogue, swaps etc.). However, Ive decided to split it up into a few blog posts over the course of the day. This is the THIRD post! In case you missed the first two, click on the links below (after you read this one first). Part 1 - OnStage | New Catalogue and Display Boards Part 2 - OnStage | 80's Themed CentreStage Event, Colour Revamp and Other News Part 3 - OnStage | Main Event, Upcoming OnStage Events and Project Display Boards (this post) Saturday arrived and it was time to meet up with 600 like-minded crafting enthusiasts. But first, here is a normal pic of me with the new catalogue (I mean, with me dressed in normal clothing, not 80's). Its always amazing to see so many gathered in one place! This event in Sydney was at capacity - it was sold out in a very short time after registration opened. We love free stamp sets (with my team member Carolina Evans)!!!! With my team member Sue Wdowik (Silver Elite). With Carolyn Boylan. My team member Angela Jachmann won this beautiful stamp set for Prize Patrol! So, we passed on a message that we were going to take a photo at afternoon break time. But, the program was running ahead of schedule. So, we said 'Lets take it now!' Its always difficult to make sure that everyone (all 50-odd people) are in the same place at the same time. So, we took the picture. Then a few more appeared. So, we took the picture again.....twice. And, sadly there were some that were missed! The team got together and got us a beautiful gift and this is the card (above) that accompanied the gift. We were overwhelmed with it! Thank you Crazy Crafters. This picture is with Nicole Bonar (Gold). Some more Crazy Crafters! My Crazy husband loves dimensionals. Will someone please tell him this isn't a good look! Hahaha!! There is one thing we love more than Prize Patrol - ALL ATTENDEE GIVEAWAYS!!!! One of the most exciting parts of OnStage events is right at the end - there is a collection of products in the middle of the table which is used for make-and-takes for each table. This year, we had to establish the youngest person on the table (Carolina Evans). The idea was then that she would take one item out of the box and then pass around the table until all of the items had been handed out. Carolina had other ideas...... Love the look on her face!!!! It was also great to catch up with team member Lauren Jones who has been married and had a son since the last time we saw her. Meet Felix! Upcoming OnStage Events If all goes to plan, Bruno and I will be attending OnStage Live in Orlando in November 2018. And, this will double as our 15 Year Wedding Anniversary (November 8, 2018). For those that can't attend OnStage Live in Orlando, there will still be OnStale Local Events in the South Pacific market. And, for those planning events for next year, here is OnStage Live in South Pacific (there will be no Local Events in April 2019). Welcome to the ESAD 2018 Annual Catalogue Launch Blog Hop! What is ESAD you ask? I was asked to join in with an online blog hop to showcase all the exciting new products that have just been released in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. The hardest bit for me was choosing which new product to showcase! I decided on Nature's Poem Suite. I love the bold colours and the miriard of images and words. But I also love that it can be subtle and pastel too. Colours for every season! I was drawn to this the sentiment - be strong, be happy, be you and wanted to showcase that. And I knew I wanted bold colours so I used the Nature's Poem designer series paper to guide me to blackberry bliss and grapefruit grove. I think they look really striking together. The panels are the Nature's Poem designer series paper cut into even stips and layered onto the card base. I then added a strip of the grapefruit grove cardstock. The leaves are embossed and cut using the coordinating Nature's Roots framelits. I used the leaf punch for the vellum leaf to add a bit of interest. The sentiment was stamped twice in blackberry bliss and grapefruit grove and I cut out the 'be happy' and glued it on top of the other image, You could also do this with your marker pens to create the same effect. A touch of silver glimmer paper and some clear faceted gems and my card was complete. Here is a close up of the layers of leaves. Adding two colours to the sentiment adds a bit of interest and ties the colours together. I hope you are enjoying the blog hop and that you click through to see the rest of the amazing creations. Hello stamping friends! Welcome to another Stamp to Share International Design Team Blog Hop. If you haven't hopped with us before, Stamp to Share is a monthly blog hop featuring Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from the Stampin' Up! markets around the world. Once a month we feature projects made with one Stampin' Up! bundle to inspire you. This months hop is three bundles in one - Just Getting Started Bundle, A Little More, Please Bundle and Gotta Have it All Bundle, using the products from the Early Release Share What You Love Suite, that will also be avaliable in the new Stampin' Up! 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue come 1st June 2018. Click on the product listing at the end of the post to see what is on offer with each bundle. And , Yes I'm creating with these gorgeous products again. I just can't get enough. All of the products I've used today you can get in the Gotta Have It All Bundle from the Share What You Love Suite. By getting the Gotta Have It All Bundle you get three products from the suite, including the exclusive Statement of My Heart Photopolymer Single Stamp (avaliable only during the early release) for FREE. Who doesn't love a freebie, right? And in this bundle you get THREE!!! I've used some sheets of the Oh So Beautiful Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Paper as the starting point for my card today. I really love the neutral feel to these patterns and the little pops of colour for a rich and gorgeous pattern. Have you seen the pearlised finish on 4 of the designs of this amazing DSP? It's just stunning, stunning, stunning! Do you think I like it?? Ha! Check out the You Tube Clip at the end of the post to see this fantastic DSP! You really have to see it in real life to see the amazing finish! I've then pulled the colours from the DSP as the basis for my card using Mossy Meadow (returning colour) and Rich Razzleberry. Rich Razzleberry isn't one of my go to colours but it is so stunning in the DSP and that Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon is out of this world stunning!! Just too gorgeous for words! Over the middle piece of DSP I layered some of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Speciality Paper for some added interest and to give a different look to the DSP. I cut out an Stitched Shapes Square and elongated it to turn it into a rectange and then using my paper trimmer cut out the inner section of the rectangle to create that 'frame' look. The inner panel is then embossed with the very beautiful Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Gosh that embossing folder is fabulous and I just love the way that it gives that really deep impression on the cardstock. To finish off the card I fussy cut some pieces from the DSP and layered it with some Baker's Twine in the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit, free with the Gotta Have It All Bundle. Did you see that gorgeous Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon! It's super gorgeous and super pretty and available to you come June 1st when the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue goes live. Can't wait for you to get it too! Lastly layered on top a Stitched Shape Oval with some stamping of images and sentiments from the Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set and some of those amazing Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. I do hope that I've given you some more inspiration with these amazing products from the Share What You Love Suite. Contact me TODAY to see how you can get these super stunning products! Hi and welcome to an EXTRA Global Stamping Friends bloghop. Today we show you projects made with products from the upcoming 2018-2019 catalogue! I have 2 projects for you which are made with the "Share What You Love"-Suite. This suite is specially designed for the 30th anniversary of Stampin'Up! Not surprised this suite has a lot of pearl accents. Lets start with the first project... a box to give a stampset to someone. The dsp from this suite is very strong, so you can easily use it for making boxes. What You Love"-cardstock bundel zit. What You Love"-embellishment kit. And this is my first project... I also made a card. I really love this suite a lot! And the best thing is... you don't have to be a demo to order it early....from May you can order it!! You have 3 "packages" to choose from. You can find more information overhere. And here's the card...I love it! What do you think of my projects? Please leave a message :-) Thanks for coming here! Well that's exactly what we are doing this month! Hop along to join in our card classes this month using sets that have Carried Over. As always I can guarantee there will be lots of inspiration and gorgeous projects. For my class I'm featuring the Buffalo Check Stamp and combining it with the Garage Gears dies for a masculine card, and the Healing Hugs Stamp Set for a female card. I've also used the Well Said and Perennial Birthday Stamp Sets for my sentiments and dies from the Lovely Leaves Edgelits Dies. Grab the supplies listed at the bottom and let's start! Happy Birthday Garage Card Cut a piece of Basic Black in half to create the card base, score and fold in half. Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in the Stamparatus, line up the Buffalo Check stamp, ink it up using the Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp. Using the Basic Black Stampin' Marker or Stampin' Blends add a fine line between the checks. Trim image to 9.4 x 13.8cm and layer onto a piece of 9.6 x 14cm Silver Foil Cardstock. Wrap a piece of Linen Thread (80cm) around the layers, tie a knot, add two mini silver metal embellishments from the Classic Garage Metal Elements, tie a bow, then adhere to the card base. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Well Said Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and trim. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals. Die cut the gears from the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies in Basic Black Cardstock and adhere to the card front. Happy Birthday Hugs Card Cut a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock in half to create the card base, score and fold in half. Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in the Stamparatus, line up the Buffalo Check stamp, ink it up using the Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp. Trim image to 9.4 x 13.8cm and layer onto a piece of 9.6 x 14cm Basic Black Cardstock. Adhere to the card base. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set onto a 2 x 10cm piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Trim end using the Banner Triple Punch and adhere to card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Stamp the floral image from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set and fussy cut. Add Dimensionals to the back, add Silver Metallic Thread (1m) and adhere to the card front. Die cut three leaves from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies in Basic Black Cardstock and adhere, tucking in under the flower. Colour three of the seven Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends and adhere to the card front. Please tag me if you make them, I'd love to see your cards. Hello stamping friends! Happy Fri YAY everyone! It's time again for another challenge over at Just Add Ink. We are all about pinks and greens for this Colour Challenge with the colour combo suggested for this challenge by yours truly. Pretty!!! I've used some new products for you today that Stampin' Up! Demonstrators can preorder at this moment but will be available for customers come June 1st when the 2018 - 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue goes live! The stamp set is called Painted Glass with co-ordinating Stained Glass Thinlits, which you can get in a bundle. But because these two products are part of a beautiful Suite in the new Catalogue there are some other co-ordinating products and look stunning when you use them all together, like the piece of the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum used on my card here, which comes in 6"x6" sheets - 24 sheets: 2 each of 12 single sided designs and the Black Cord, also used here on my card. I started the whole card with stamping the roses on Shimmery White and heat embossing with Black Stammpin' Emboss powder. I'm super excited that Black Stampin' Emboss powder is coming back in the 2018 - 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Now I don't have to stamp in black ink and then emboss with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. Just stamp in Versamark and then off you go with the black embossing powder. I still had one small pot left over from when it was retired. The embossing of the images goes perfectly with the whole stained glass look of this Suite. I used all the four colours from the challenge to colour in the roses. First starting with the lightest colour and then going over with the darker to give some depth of colour and some shading. I just picked up the colour out of the lid of the Stampin' Up! ink pad using and Aqua Painter. Really is my favourite way to colour. The detailed circle is cut using the semi-circle thinlit from the Stained Glass Thinlits and then stuck on to a circle of the same size while at the same time trying to keep all the pieces in the die cut for a delicate and detailed look. The black sentiment and the roses hide the line of where the two semi-circles meet making it look like on circle die. I layered it on a Stitched Shapes die cut just for an added element and prettiness really. Under the die cuts is a piece of that beautiful Graceful Glass Designer Vellum. I love that its just a small piece just peeking out but the contrast of the black lines with the Shimmery White cardstock really makes those black lines in the vellum pop. All finished off with some new ribbon and trim - Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Black Cord, and the current Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon. The little and super pretty pink pearls come from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls that you can get at the moment in the Share What You Love Early Release Promotion . I really do hope that you all take part in this weeks challenge. There is heaps of inspiration shared from the Just Add Ink Design Team so you won't be short of ideas to get your creativity going!
