Thanks for stopping by for MFT's March Release Rewind - Part 2! The MFT Team has another two days of inspiration for you using newly released products that are available HERE NOW. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today. My first card uses the new Stay Tuned Stamp Set and the new Television Die-namics. I created the pattern on the top half of the card with stamps included in the Stay Tuned Stamp Set. I used two new Premium Dye Inks released this month, After Midnight and Cranberry Cocktail, and the third ink is the Delicata Silver Ink Pad. On the bottom half of the card I stamped the new Small Brick Background Stamp in Cranberry Cocktail Premium Dye Ink on Cranberry Cocktail Card Stock. I used Steel Gray Card Stock for the television and Ranger Silver Foil Card Stock for the center rim. The screen background and sentiments are stamped with the Stay Tuned Stamp Set. Here's a look at the inside, including another sentiment from the stamp set. Then I added a spot for a gift card with the Gift Card Grooves Die-namics. The background on my second card is done with the Diagonal Stripes Stencil with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I used the new Blueprints 23 to added the Smooth While Card Stock strip down the center and the scalloped edges. The leaves are stamped with the new Circle Scribble Flowers Stamp Set in Limelight Premium Dye Ink and outlined with Gumdrop Ink Premium Dye Ink. To create the flowers I used the new Circle Scribble Flower and Scribble Die-namics. The word sentiment is from the Happy Trio Die-namics, this month Free with $60. On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the new Totally Happy Stamp Set. The background is stamped with the Happy Birthday Background Stamp. My trees are in bloom already and it's starting to look like spring in the desert. I have to say, this might now have been the place I'd have chosen to spend the later years of my life, but in the spring it is just gorgeous. So, I put a little spring in my card for the Pals Paper Arts challenge. If you would like to join in just click the PPA link in my right side bar, you will see many more cards based on this sketch. I'm using So Saffron, I think it's my favorite yellow, so soft with a hint of gold. I also used Perfect Plum, Old Olive and a touch of Tangerine tango. Love, love, love this Hardwood background stamp, it just works so well for so many things, here it's the fence for the flowers to grow against. The sentiment is from See Ya Later, if you like this set now is the time to get it, it's one of the free sets with a $50 order from any current product. This special ends the last day of March so time is getting short. I added Candy dots to hold down my greeting and used the Bitty Butterfly for accent with rhinestones for bling. To purchase any of these items, or just to look around or get more info, just click on one of the photos below. Thanks so much for stopping by. I sure would love to hear what you have to say about my card. Hello friends! I recently purchased Bella Blvd's newest Cooper and Chloe collections. Both are absolutely adorable. I really like that Bella Blvd is now including 6x6 paper pads with all their collections. I decided to start with the Cooper paper pad. I also purchased the coordinating ephemera and 12x12 Bella Besties. I used my 6x6 Paper
Morning everyone how's your week going? It's Wednesday already so halfway through the week. Today's project is using two Stampin Up sets Papillon Potpourri and the coordinating punch and the Serene Silhouettes. I love creating interesting backgrounds and building a scene. I took a circle mask and then with so saffron crisp cantaloupe & crumb cake created s subtle scene. Using the flower silhouette in black I stamped outside the circle to draw the eye into the scene and then added the butterflies flying through from the bottom to the top. This card is beautiful for any occasion but with Mother's Day approaching I thought this would be ideal. I hold regular workshops/classes from my home in Farnham Surrey where you can learn these techniques so please get in touch [email protected]. There will be a couple more classes in March to take advantage of the freebies on offer. Classes fill up quickly so don't hesitate. This is probably one of my favourite techniques as I love the 3D effect of this card. All the products used are available through Stampin Up the link is at the top of the page and when ordering please use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice. Thanks so much.
