Thank you for joining us for this amazing 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog hop! We have an incredible line up of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators that I am sure you know well. You may be starting here or have come from the incredibly talented Patty Bennett - either way, you can use the list at the end of this post to make your way around the hop and see some projects using BRAND NEW products. At the moment you are currently in Australia and you will be hopping around the world to many different locations. Please feel free to leave comments as we love hearing from you. I used the brand new host stamp set called Pun Intended. I adore that gorgeous love light and knew that is what I wanted to use. Something clean and simple. Interestingly I was showing Brian King the card that I made for this hop and he sent a picture back of one of his cards from a few years back that looked very similar. I must have seen it on pinterest and tucked it away for when I needed it to come out again. Thanks for the inspiration Brian! Here is my card - I adore this stamp set! I love that it is so clean and that the light just pops out and shines brightly. I also adore white embossing and love that I have been able to use this for the sentiment and cord. The crushed curry cardstock goes so well with the Basic Black cardstock. Thank you so much for joining me today. I am sure that you are going to love seeing all the amazing projects! You are in for such a creative treat. Next up is the amazing Janneke de Jong. I know you will love her take on something new. It is so exciting when we get to introduce to you the new In Colours (colors)! At OnStage it was mentioned that these colours were not created to work all together. For the most part they do, but we can't forget our other Family colours - the Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals. I'm certain these new colours will work well with these too. Did you know that each year Stampin' Up! create their own new colours, they almost always show in the Top Panetone Colours which really determines the hip and funky colours that we will see in design and fashion. Now I understand you may not be a fan straightaway but let me woo you. To decorate these cards I used The Mixed Boarders greetings & a new stamp from Badges and Banners. I've also used a NEW DSP Stack called Playful Palette (coming June 1st pg 174 of the new catalogue) its has 4 of the new In Colours and the designs are fabulous! Peekaboo Peach Flirty Flamingo Emerald Envy Sweet Sugarplum Dapper Denim You can make these cool cards with little supplies - photos to come! - Playful Palette DSP Stack 141657 - InColour A4 Assortment 141434 Plus these new Stamp sets Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it! Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think!

Happy Birthday! This special Blog post has been scheduled just for today.... You see, I sent one of these cute cards to a sweet friend for their BIRTHDAY!!!! AND today is that day!! This person is also into card creating, like myself. But boy is this person talented! Soooooo, I wanted something I wouldn't be ashamed to send.... Something original, funny, cute and artistic! BIG ask! lol I had been seeing so many gorgeous 'Jar of Love' cards...I have even made a couple myself (yet to be blogged) But they all seemed very similar....flowers in a jar, hearts in the jar, even a fish in a jar Another creator Stephanie Fischer had just made a card called 'Ahoy There' (no jars anywhere) BUT it gave me an idea :) I thought, 'Lets tip the jar over a little so it's almost spilling it's contents but not quite! And have fishies inside, Jumping OUT!' I think to myself....WOW!, yes that sounds original & allowed myself a little WHOOP of joy. AND got to creating... Here is it..... Happy Birthday ! #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards The little one on the right is my first effort. Then came version 2 .... not alot different but made a little larger, just so I could add some little extra detail & not overwhelm the card. You are probably wondering what I did for the inside??? Can you see inside a little :) Ok I will stop teasing! hahahaa Here is an open pic of the card. I couldn't let the poor little fishies jump, not without having somewhere safe for them to land! LOL #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards I do hope she liked it... As I scheduled this post on Sunday (19/6) and haven't as yet posted the card to her!!! Gosh I am excited! hehehe Anywho... How I made my 'Jar of Love' cards: I used Peek-a-boo Peach A4 card stock & in colour backgrounds DSP. Thick Whisper White was used as my card base and for the fronts. I used the 'Jar of Love' stamp set for the jars, stamped onto an acetate window sheet in Stazon Jet Black. The sentiment is a mixture of two from the same Jar of Love set and has been stapled together then attached using dimensionals. I cut both jar outlines using Everyday Jars Framelits. I coloured using my aqua painters and my Stampin' Write marker Island Indigo scribbled onto a stampin' block...I mixed the blue at times with Craft Stampin Ink whisper White For the inside I stamped the small jar in Stazon jet black as I didn't want it to bleed or run when painting my flowing water. I stamped the fish in Peek-a-boo Peach and colored very carefully around it. The flowers have been stamped in Peeka-boo-Peach while the leaves were stamped with Emerald Envy. I added the smaller Rhinestones to the smaller flowers on one card. I used the foam adhesive strips to frame up the fish jar (the one sent for the birthday) as it is a shaker card. I used it to raise the front on the smaller card. I used Stampin' Dimensionals under some flowers, to add more depth. #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards If you would like to purchase any of these items please use the 'Carousel' below

I LOVE the new Stampin' Up! 2016-2018 In Colors! They are all fabulous! I thought you might like to see how well the new In Colors work with other existing Stampin' Up! Colors, so I sponged them onto some Color Me Irresistible embossed paper with Stampin' Sponges! (It's on sale for only $6.50 per pack! click here). Have you used the Color Me Irresistible paper yet? The patterns are already printed 'white on white' on 6 of the sheets, and you can add any color to them. I've added 3 or 4 colors to each piece to
This card was made with my BRAND NEW stamp set, Marquee Messages!!! (perk of being a Demonstrator! we get some stamp sets before anyone else!) we received it in our Stampin' Up On Stage event bags! I needed to make a card that was kind of neutral, so it gave me an excellent reason to use this set! although, any reason is a good reason to stamp, right? I put a little extra effort into this one. I first stamped the main image, then colored certain parts, and then stamped the banner portion of the image on Island Indigo, embossed the "birthday" in black, then cut it out, and paper pieced it onto the main image. the little 'stars' or 'sparkles' were stamped, colored, cut out, and applied to the main image. I used circle punches and Real Red and Island Indigo for the background circles. The dotted background paper is a SaleaBration DSP. I used Crystal Effects on the 'lights' on the arrow portion, on the 'sparkels' and also on the red stripes on the side. I then added Wink of Stella to the "Its Your" part to give it a little extra something :o) Supplies: Ink: (used for coloring) Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Real Red Cardstock: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black Stamps: Marquee Messages Accessories: DSP, Crystal Effects, Circle Punches, Wink of Stella Glimmer Pen Wanna visit my facebook page? stop by and give it a 'Like'! https://www.facebook.com/stampineverything

Welcome to another 'Fun' Blog Hop with the Crazy Crafter's for the month of August. If you are following the blog - you've just come from Juana Ambida - an amazing Crazy Crafter who makes the most beautiful cards (it's a hard act to follow)! This time we are CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card from Dawn Olchefske. Here is a picture of Dawn and a link to her blog if you wish to check out more amazing creations that she has made. Click here to go to Dawn's Blog! The card that I have decided to CASE for this Blog Hop is a gorgeous card using another of my favourite stamp sets - "Awesomely Artistic"! As soon as I saw Dawn's card, I knew this was the one I wanted to CASE. I love how this card was created with the soft sponged background and the gorgeous dragon fly flying across the card. I loved the bling in this card too, it's such a sweet card I couldn't wait to recreate it with a few variations! Here is the card that Dawn created: and here is my card: I used the NEW foam strip to stick the sentiment down. It added extra height and helped make it pop off the card! I also fussy cut the dragon fly and mounted it onto stampin dimensionals so it also sat slightly raised from the rest of the card. This is a close up of the background so you can see how the background was sponged on before stamping the flowers and ferns. I used Wisteria Wonder and Sweet Sugar Plum to sponge the background. I only used Flirty Flamingo for the three ferns that I stamped to add an additional colour to the composition. Products Used: Make sure that you keep on hopping and check out all the other fantastic cards/creations that the Crazy Crafter's have made for your viewing pleasure. Your next hop should be Rosalie Desmond - so grab a coffee and enjoy the show! Don't forget to leave us a comment and let us know what you think of our cards :) Happy Hopping.
