Here is my Patty inspired project: My project features 2 of the amazing Sale-a-Bration products, Flowering Fields Stamp set and Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. I used Basic Black Archival to stamp the images and Aqua Painters to colour - I had a burst of inspiration and created a 2nd card! Can you see the Wink of Stella on the water colouring? It has an amazing shimmer in real life, but is a tad difficult to photograph! The sentiments are from the One Big Meaning set available in the Annual Catalogue. Hi All! Another day another stamp set! Today as I mentioned yesterday I am using the "Wild About Flowers" stamp set which is also a 2 step set. I do like this one much better than the Garden in Bloom Here I have stamped first using the Hardwood background in Sahara Sand then the flowers using Mossy Meadow & Delightful Dijon. I think this might be my favorite card I've made in a LONG time! Super tickled at how this one turned out. And it was pretty easy, too! Here's how I did it, plus a fun variation you'll enjoy making as well. It's not as hard as you'd think! You can use any floral stamps and any large word stamp for this card. I used the Sale-A-Bration 2016 stamp set, Botanicals for You. First, lay a Framelit or stencil down and trace your desired shape VERY lightly with a pencil. Then, stamp your largest flower in your boldest color, randomly...

I really enjoyed her great designs with Bordering Blooms....Lovely color scheme! I am using this year's Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set....Each year Stampin' Up! provides an opportunity for us to buy a set that benefits this charity. This year $3 from each set sold will be donated to RMHC. I always get the set and usually really like it. I like it especially well this year! First, I have flowers and leaves in Florida Flamingo colors which provides a quick dress up for the French Fry box. I used a little bit of the Flower Fair Framelits and the Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die as well as the Chalk Talk Framelit to create the Flamingo tag. Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White were the colors I used. Next, is the MOJO Monday sketch for this week, MOJO350. I used the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the background and used the All Abloom designer series paper stack for the Blush Blossom based color scheme and paper. Tickled Pink is great for just a congratulations or for welcoming a new baby girl... Finally, I just wanted to use a more Coral color with it. :) I used the Striped Scallop Framelit for a background. The card is Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral...I realize it looks almost Tangerine Tango...sorry...To finish, I put pearls at the top of the card. Now it is time to visit Holly's Rubber Redneck blog to see her lovelies with the Flower Patch set and matching Flower Fair framelits.

I have created a few cards today using the Layered Letters Alphabet Photopolymer stamp set. It has so many uses too. I love how with the clear photopolymer sets you can see what you're inking and stamping - below you'll see a cool tip from me. I've also joined the latest craze and made a carry bag for my cards - which is in the shape of a handbag! Its really easy - I have adjusted the measurements for Australian C6 cards - I saw the idea from Linda Bauwin - really cool!! Here are my creations... To make this size bag you will need half a sheet of dsp (6x12") x3 - 3/4 x 12" carstock (rims) x2 - 3/4 x 10" carstock (handles) x1 - 2 1/2 x 5 1/4"" carstock (base, scored at 1/2" around to make a base) Carolina's Tip's and Techniques I used some of the other letters and characters in the alphabet set to create the extra little pieces on my Hungry Caterpillar - the letter 'V' for the antennae, the exclamation dot '!' for the nose, and the letter 'I' for the legs - here's how... Well ..... It seems that I couldn't leave this stamp set for long after all! :o) I love it too much! It's quick and simple to use .... and you can make the most beautiful cards with it! I used the gorgeous sentiment from Happy Birthday Everyone again too. I stamped it directly onto the background and then 'Double Stamped' it to make it a nice solid colour. I used wood stamps, so you can only do this if you use the Stamp-a-ma-jig and do not move it at all between stamping. I love the colours here too .... Smoky Slate and Tangerine Tango. Hi everyone, sharing some projects (some new and some old) for an entry to Stampin' Up! for the opportunity to stamp projects for the OnStage display boards for the April Event. I am going to the Sydney Event along with two of my friends. We are flying the red-eye from Perth which lands at 6.05am, off to the event with registration opening at 7.30am (just enough time for breaky and coffee), attend the event all day and catch a flight home that night which leaves Sydney at 8.25pm. We land back in Perth at 11.30pm. We could catch up on some sleep coming home, but we reckon we will be too busy going through the new catalogue cover to cover. Are we crazy or what!! We are so looking forward to our trip. Not sure how I will fare but if you do not enter you will not be selected right, so here goes. We have to make 3 cards, 1 scrapbooking page and 2 3D items for our entry. The first card is a new project using the beautiful Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, Rose Wonder stamp set and the Botanical Builder Framelits (these Framelits are one of my favourite go to items at present). The second card I made recently using the Balloon Celebration stamp set, Balloon Bouquet Punch and the It's My Party Designer Series Paper. This card is perfect for using up all those little strips of patterned paper that you have left over that you just cannot make yourself throw away. The third card is one I made last December using the Going Global Stamp Set and Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack. Just perfect for the men in our lives. For the centre panel I stamped the background onto Kraft Cardstock, distressed the edges and then sponged Soft Suede ink. The compass was stamped twice onto Kraft Cardstock, I coloured it with Soft Suede, Marina Mist and Lost Lagoon Stampin' Write Markers. I layered it up with dimensionals and added an Antique brad for the centre. I really admire people that can take perfect pictures of their scrapbooking pages. I was standing on chairs, kneeling on the floor, sitting, standing and taking pictures from all angles. This is the best picture that I took (a bit of investigation on how others do this is needed I think). The "Dare Devils" in my pictures are my nephews who love nothing more that to go riding on the tracks through the pine forest on their motorbikes. My 3D items are projects that I had previously made which I just love and would like to share again. The first one has been made using the Gift Bag Punch Board, Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, Gold Foil Sheet, Gold Satin Ribbon, Botanical Builder Framelits, Triple Banner Punch and Iced Rhinestones. My second 3D item is this gorgeous little handbag made using the It's My Party Designer Suite of products. How perfect is this for a small gift for someone special (a friend of mine received this one). Hope you enjoyed my projects and thank you for visiting. Het is alweer even geleden dat je Vintage Vrijdag op mijn blog voorbij hebt zien komen. Nou ja, laten we het maar even niet over mijn blogdip van vorig jaar hebben. Mijn goede voornemen voor 2016 is om dit wekelijkse item weer op te pakken en deze week tel ik dus door waar ik was gebleven. Voor deze kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een aantal sets die leuk met elkaar combineren. Als eerste de Butterfly Basics. Deze set bestaat uit diverse stempels waarmee je de achtergrond kunt maken. Deze heb ik afgedrukt op het mooie Shimmery White Cardstock. De bloem heb ik ingekleurd met behulp van een blenderpen en inkt uit de deksel van mijn inktpad. Voor de rand heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de set Timeless Textures. Dit is een set uit de nieuwe voorjaar/zomer catalogus. Deze set bestaat uit verschillende stempels voor het maken van achtergronden met de Layering Techniek. De Kolibri komt uit de set Picture Perfect. Deze Two-Step Stampin set bestaat uit 3 afbeeldingen die je kunt opbouwen uit meerdere stempels. De tekst Thanks komt uit de set Another Thank You. Wil je dit kaartje maken? Klik dan op Supply List onder de lijst met super leuke kits die ook nieuw zijn in de voorjaar/zomer catalogus. Je vindt daar alle materialen die ik heb gebruikt voor deze kaart. Op dinsdagavond 26 januari geef ik een workshop met de set Picture Perfect. Je maakt 3 kaartjes waarbij je de Two-Step techniek kunt toepassen. Meer in formatie vindt je in mijn activiteitenkalender. I hadn't inked up these cute Cheerful Critters from Stampin' Up! yet, so I grabbed them and played along with Mojo Monday this week. I think this is my new favorite sentiment. I have several friends who I know will find it just as hilarious, so I can't wait to make and send cards to them. I am going to try to send this one off today. :) Laila has been going to bed early this week, so I've had a little time to color. I haven't really been in the mood to make a card, but coloring with my Copics has been good therapy. I tried to start the day off nice today, so we woke up and make muffins together. That was about all that's been fun so far. :-/ I'm hoping it improves soon before everyone is in bed crying.
