The year has gone by in a flash and now I'm staring straight into the tunnel and I see the light of summer... Oh, boy! I can't wait! Do you feel me?! We are getting close, just three weeks left here...but of course we had to have open house first! One of the days I look forward to each year is open house. I love watching the kids share their work with their families. Their smiles say it all. And the big bonus? Unlike back to school night, I'm not on. The parents are not there to see me, so our conversation is short and sweet. The night is filled with hugs and fun. Our theme this year was weather. Take a peek! Graphing the seasons: Watercolor painting our favorite season-I took a profile pic of the kids and changed the exposure in Word to make it all black, then cut it out :) Studying climates around the world (thanks to Reagan Tunstall) Learning about meteorologists and their tools! Our own mini meteorologists :) Storms KWL ( we also wrote about storms!) Clouds and cloud facts! (Thanks Cara Carroll) Cloud Men with list poems And adjective rainbows! Can you see them hanging from the lights? Season tri-o-ramas with paper bag trees. This is a fall one! Hope you enjoyed a peek at my open house room. I wish I had a wide shot of it all, but the night was so busy that I forgot to take one! I'm blaming it on open house brain! ;) Here's to a few more weeks! M
Color by number Bible coloring pages involve an assigned color indicated by a number. Children fill in the appropriate space with the assigned color. These typically assume a slightly higher motor skill level and some basic reading skills. In many cases a simple Bible lesson is included with each activity.
7 foot Airport Stencils for runways and taxiways. All Airport aviation numbers stencils and letter stencils conform to FAA advisory circular AC 150/5340-1L. (see the PDF download on pg 109 of the FAA website) Painting airport taxiways and runways will help your organization meet current federal regulations. As FAA guidelines change and runway/ taxiway markings fade, stencil painting should be done every couple of years. Our 7 foot high runway/ taxiway stencils are laser cut on durable 1/8" (125-mil) or 1/16” (60-mil) thick LLDPE plastic that lays flat and guarantees professional painting results. Each character ships as a two-piece set that fit together using tabs to ensure accuracy. The standard FAA arrow stencil and square dot stencil required for runways/ taxiways are also available. Our stencils can be used with any painting equipment or spray application available. All stencils can be cleaned and reused many times. 7 foot tall stencils are measured as the top of the character to the bottom of the character. The sheet size they are cut on guarantees a minimum of 4” around all characters for overspray. Each character is made directly from FAA approved graphics.
