It seems to have been pleated into small pleats first and then pleated into big ones. Look at the different clasps and her curls! At first glance it's easy to miss that she has a split skirt. A very peculiar hair ornament... I adore the jacket!

Noble woman dress tailored in European fashion trends of the begining 17th century. This dress tailored according to pictures of Anne of Austria (wife Louis XIII of France). Dress is 100% handsewn and tailored with natural fabric - beautiful green velvet 100% cotton! And created with patterns using the book "Seventeenth-Century Women's Dress Patterns: Book 1", Susan North, Jenny Tiramani. This costume consists of skirt and bodice, which joined together with ribbons. Chemise is not included. The skirt is with sewn in petticoat, it makes skirt more puffed. Also, there are two side lacing in the skirt. Bodice is strengthened with boned corset (biult-in-bodice). Bodice has historical lacing system, decorated with handmade collar, which is typical for this period.
