St Mary Bawdsey, Suffolk. The six panels are of 13th century Flemish origin and were probably part of a cope which, because it was in bad condition, was cut up, remounted on brown velvet and used as an Altar Frontal. Originally in the chapel at Bawdsey Manor it was later given to St Mary's by a member of the Quilter family.
