I've been working on OSW (One Sheet Wonder) Template for 12"x12" Double-sided DSP and made sample cards for my OWH cardmaking group. I have a class tomorrow for them to create OWH card kits. I came up with this basic template to make eight cards along with several variations that you can make more out of it. You will need to first cut in 5"x12", the second cut in 5"x12" and the rest will be 2"x12". Then go by the cutting diagram. This is a draft that you will see my handwriting after many whiteouts. I will work on my computer to get nicer drawing. Tip: Punch out the focal image mat from the base layer that will be covered by dsp anyway. Hope this will give some inspiration whoever wants to try. UPDATE: Please click the template to open a new window with bigger clear picture. Thanks for stopping by!
Introducing my June 12" x 12" One Sheet Wonder Tutorial! This month's One Sheet Wonder features the beautiful Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper and coordinating products. With just
Card #13 Card #14 I had a request to post a picture of all of these cards together so after I scheduled this post, I took a picture of 13. I've already used one but it pretty much the same layout as the first one in the second row. It was a "Thank You" card that I sent along with a customer's order. And now you have been able to see all 14 cards made from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper. The only wasted piece measured 1/4" x 1 1/4". In total I have done nearly 40 cards using this method. Another one was supposed to be this same set of cuts but I messed up and only got 13 cards. I have trimmed some of them a bit differently and will be posting them a little later. The third sheet I cut using a different layout for some different looks and will be showing some of them as well a little later. I hope you will think about giving this a try. It really feels good to use up some of those beautiful designer papers.

Good Day Crafty Friends, It's One Sheet Wonder time! Time to take a piece of 12"x 12" DSP and cut it up. Don't be afraid to cut that beautiful paper. Guarantee if you love the Paper you are about to use, then so will the recipient. This OSW set of cards is a very simple set and can be achieved by all level of crafters. The template I have chosen to use makes 14 cards. There is a popular saying in the crafting world 'why reinvent wheel?". I am applying this saying to the template that I have used for my set of cards today. Instead of doing all the hard work, I have used this template by Michele Boyer. To download the template by Michelle click here Here are my pieces all cut up ready to go Now for those really really observant, you will notice the three rectangular pieces that make up card 12, well in my set I have only used two (not because I didn't want to but because I dropped one piece on the floor and one of the dogs snavelled it up - gone! Down the hatch!) So, in order 1-14 as per template here are my cards I wanted to keep them fairly simple so to limit the time spent making the batch. Took me 3 hours from start to finish. I used only Black and White Card Stock so that anyone can replicate these samples. I die cut and punched everything from black card stock, all card fronts are white card, all images and sentiments were stamped in Black Archival Ink, then just added some Black & White Bakers Twine and a bit of bling. A separate post of all the cards with close ups and items used on each one can be viewed here. Hope I have inspired you to get into your crafty space, cut up some 12x12 and create a batch of cards. I like to package mine in a wide Stampin'Up! stamp case as you can slip inserts inside the front and back plastics, and gift it as a set. Or a clear acetate box with simple ribbon trimming so you can see the cards inside. Keep an eye for for my next One Sheet Wonder post, I will show you how to make a set of cards using a stamped A4 piece of card stock along with Stampin' Up! Framelits and Stamps. Until next time, stay crafty

This week Operation Write Home offered a One Sheet Wonder tutorial on their blog from Seongsook Duncan's blog. The tutorial suggested using a 12"x12" piece of double sided designer paper. I didn't have this so I used two 12"x12" sheets of paper. I cut both sheets of paper according to Seongsook"s template. Next I followed the assembly instructions. Because I used two sheets of paper there will be a total of 16 cards made. I used a white card base with a maroon layer and two sheets of coordinating Christmas paper from the DCWV "Christmas Combo Stack". These are my finished cards. This was a fun way to make many cards. I'll be looking for more One Sheet Wonder templates.

How to make a one sheet wonder mini album! Make a complete mini album with cover from only one 12x12 sheet of cardstock
Several foreign crafters, have made a set of cards, using only one sheet of patterned papter. The cards should all be different. You can use many sheets of cardstock and different embellishment, but only one sheet of patterned paper. These cards are often called "One sheet wonder". I decided to have a go, and created 16 different 10x10 cards, using only one sheet of patterned paper. Choosing a paper with nice pattern on both sides help, for these kind of projects. Here, I have used Majas new Christmas collection, I wish. The 16 different cards: I decided to post photos of the different cards in sets of two. (Thanks to Mona Nilsen, for inspiration to the Christmas tree card with the last left overs.) This is how I divided the patterned paper: Materials used:
