This listing is for 4 yards x 9-1/2" wide fabric border. This fabric border is perfect for making curtain valances, quilts..... It is designed by Carol Endres for Benartex - Topiary Snowman Collection Border. This could be used in a variety of ways: trim, border on towel, valance, etc. Most of my fabric is either vintage, out of print, and/or not available in stores and hard to find. Going through my fabric stash and realizing I need to share my fabric with others that can make something out of it. For many years I did craft shows and a lot of my fabric has been cut into borders, squares, etc. for various things that I made. I ship to the USA, Canada & Internationally. Next day shipping. My home is smoke free and animal free.
Okay, these 20″ blocks are addicting. Someone on IG commented on my selvage stash, but the whole thing could fit into a gallon ziploc bag. There are all those selvages on my stash, however.…
More fun 6-inch blocks are done! I made three of the first block, for swaps... ...and I will probably not be making more than one of each of these... Another bunny! I am still trying to come up with a design for a central medallion block for my quilt made from all these little applique blocks (and pieced little treasures from my friends), and there are certainly more little blocks to come. Right now I am working on pet blocks for each of us (a cat for me, a lab for Ola, and a wiener dog for Mary). In stitches, Teresa :o)
I have had a wonderful long weekend, the weather was beautiful, my children were busy and I got lots of sewing done. On Saturday afternoon I started cutting and making these 4 patch blocks. They soon became part of some strips. By today I had got this much of the quilt done. Its a Schnibbles quilt that I have made bigger so its going to be a lap size. This is such a fun quilt to work on. I hope to have it finished by the end of the week. This afternoon I photographed a few of my quilts to put in my quilt journal. This one I made in 2008. Its called Flower Bed by Bronwyn Hayes. Here is my Journey of a Quilter designed by the very talented Leanne Beasley. I love her designs and I have a few new ones on my to do list. Just a few quilts resting on the chair, I thought they made a nice photo all neatly folded. How did you spend your weekend? I hope you found some sewing time.
It’s gone. Posted. Ready to be hung and judged by strangers…. It’s actually quite a nice feeling to finally sit back and not have to worry about getting it finished before the cut off date. Ah, re…

It's time again for Amy's Bloggers' Quilt Festival...and here's my submission... I had a great time making this string quilt. Never made one before and was inspired by Julie http://juliekquilts.blogspot.com/ Homespun plaids are a little different to work on I found out...for one thing they don't cut true....no matter how hard you try. I sewed the strings onto a muslin foundation. They don't look too pretty while sewing...but when the blocks are pressed and squared up...they look great. As I was making up the blocks...I found that spray starch made a huge difference...I never use starch, but am glad I did for these blocks. When I finished the quilt and washed it I was sooooo impressed, this may be my favorite cuddly, crinkly, down home feeling quilt! I just love it! I'm thinking of making another...already have started making some blocks! Thanks for stopping by...and don't forget to visit the FESTIVAL!!! Can't get the button...but here is the link http://amyscreativeside.com/2011/10/28/bloggers-quilt-festival-fall-2011/ ***Evelyn Sloppy's book should get the credit for this beautiful pattern...I don't know the name of the book, sorry!***
This is one of those projects that’s been on my mental to do list for a while, like before I had my Pinterest boards, or I would be able to tell you exactly when and where I saw it. (Oh Pinte…
DIY Patchwork Scarf: Recently I bought a Liberty of London sample pack at the Tokyo Quilt Festival. When I bought it, I wasn't really sure what I could make with 50 4"x4" squares, but I was so in love with the colors and it was a great price - I couldn't resist.&n…
When she said her son loved airplanes, I couldn't resist making one extra block at 9.5". Hopefully you can find room for it on the back or maybe you could use strips to make it larger and use it as a pillow on his bed? Or if it doesn't work at all, just hang on to it until you find a use for it. I used a bit of extra fabric I had around in my stash for this one and tiny bit of your red. I hope you don't mind. I couldn't resist. Tutorial now available.

Do you like efficiency in construction in the quilt patterns you sew? If you are answering "yes" then Detour is the pattern for you! Using the magic of chain piecing and some thoughtful instructions, you create all 5 pieces (1 table runner and 4 place mats) at the same time. Pressing directions are included in each step to keep things running smoothly as well. Using only 3 fabrics this can be a stash busting project or an excuse to go to the quilt shop. Our customers tell us that Detour was so fast and fun to put together that they could rarely stop at just one set! The only Detour you may encounter is heading to the quilt shop for more fabric to make it again!

A unique stitch pattern, that is so easy, yet makes this purse look as if it were woven fabric! Use rug yarn or a bulky yarn. We find rug yarn has more stability to keep heavy things in, and keeps it from sagging. We used up scraps to make a center stripe pattern, but this could easily be made all in one color. Size is about 14 by 11 ½ inches. Use a 16 inch circular needles, US size 10.5, and the knitting will go fast!
I am parting with my collection of Aunt Grace fabrics by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Brothers Textiles as I realize I will never cut them and I should share them with someone who will enjoy them. I remember buying all that I could find when I first started quilting in 2002. Then, like the rest of my stash I carefully stored them in my smoke-free and pet-free studio. Don't let the age concern you- these fabrics are pristine. I'm not getting any younger--it's time to part with fabrics regardless of how much I love them.... I have grouped the smaller cuts, usually by color, as there are just so many to list. This listing is for a one (1) yard cut and a half yard cut of 44" fabric titled "Aunt Grace Through the Years" dated March 2003. I have many more of this fabric line to list so check back often! I will ship free to the US only via USPS Priority or First Class Mail with a tracking number provided at time of shipment. Please email any questions.
A piece of new taupe/coffee coloured lace fabric all ready to make into something gorgeous. Beautiful lace which shimmers in the sunlight. My iPad has difficulty with colour sometimes the first 2 photos are the best. Measures: 64” wide x 60” long (1.5m) approx It would look wonderful as a party skirt, top or A-line dress. Could be used for crafting, junk journals and slow stitching. I am de stashing most of my silky type fabrics which are taking up room in my cupboard and will probably never be used. I feel it’s time to let someone else use the fabrics rather than me look at them. Thank you for looking.

Childs Nursery Quilt or lap throw. The florals mixed with some modern prints blend well with each other. The soft, soft pink polka dot fabric color is a perfect addition to this quilted piece. Florals are mixed with geometric patterns, and I love the pear silhouettes' in the soft gold companion print. This quilt could easily transition from the nursery to a Childs toddler sized bed or for a lovely throw for a special gal! The reverse side is in the matching geo print. All of my quilts are made of quality 100% premium cotton fabric. The natural cotton batting is from Pellon and has been needle punched for durability and uniformity to withstand years and years of laundering and I have quilted it with a premium quality thread. This would make such a wonderful Shower gift for someone! 🌼 SIZE This quilts measurements are 54" in length by 42" in width. 🌼 MATERIALS 100% premium cotton Designer fabrics for piecing, backing and binding.
