Reposing in the shade at Semerang Gudang depot is highly polished D10 class 0-8-0T No. D10 09. This class of eleven Klein-Lindner locos was built by Hartmann between 1913 and 1915, this one was Works No. 3806 of 1914. The very long wheelbased engine has had its rear driving wheels decoupled, effectively becoming an 0-6-2T! Monday 23rd July 1973. Slide No. 11709.

PG Rendeng was a sugar estate near Kudus and here is a scene at the loco depot with some mixed-gauge track on the left, 700mm and 900mm, the rest of the layout being 700mm. Both locos are 700mm gauge, No. 8 (Works No. 12262 of 1932) on the left and No. 6 (Works No. 7891 of 1914) on the right, as the crews go about their business.
